The Silence of that Seventh Seal is broken.

The prayers of the saints have been heard. The order has been issued to blow the trumpets. The angels raise up their trumpets near their mouth. They're ready to play.

Hi, Jim Scudder here today on InGrace. We are going to continue our study of the Book of Revelation and our series Armageddon's Dawn. We do believe that the Lord's return is imminent. It can happen at any moment. And the Bible gives us a lot of things that are going to happen in this end of time season. And one of the things that's going to happen are a series of trumpet judgments. These begin with the opening of the Seventh Seal. So yesterday we started talking about the First Seal, which was silence in heaven for a half hour. And then you have this intense sound of seven trumpets. Today we're going to talk about that. What are these seven trumpets? What's about to come? This next series of judgments upon planet Earth. And certainly we deserve judgment. I'm going to be talking today a little bit about the debate in the presidential elections that we had a few years ago about LGBTQ. And I don't think either party has this right, but I certainly know that one party gets this really wrong. And so we need to be engaged and involved, especially as pastors. But every Christian, we need to be involved as salt and light. We need to be voting. We need to be maybe running for election. We need to be encouraging people to vote. And we need to be engaged with those that are already lawmakers, praying for them, praying for them to make the right decisions. So we're going to get into very, very important things today. And I'm glad you're listening. I also want to invite you to come and visit us at Quinton Road Baptist Church. I know many of you live all across the country and maybe other parts of the world, but those of you that live in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas, we'd love to invite you to Quinton Road Baptist Church. We're in Lake Zurich, Illinois, every Sunday at 11 o'clock, or I'd say almost every Sunday, I am preaching, and I would love to meet you after the service. And if you are not living in the area, but you might be passing through either by driving or flying, stop in and make it on a Sunday, stop in and visit us. Quinton Road Baptist Church, we would love to meet you sometime soon.

We've had God speaking by the prophets. We have God speaking through Jesus.

Now we have man's turn to speak. God has spoken. Thus saith the Lord. It's right here. Now it's our turn.

And what is man saying today? Man is basically saying today, if you watch the Democratic presidential debates, and I'm not saying I'm a Democrat or Republican, I lean conservative. I do because I think we should be conservative in our lives, especially in morality. We have to be if we're going to follow this. Is this really what God said?

But now the debates are about LBGTQ rights and how someone will not be able to, I think in the near future, preach against homosexuality from the pulpit. We still will, and that might mean that when we do, when I say we, I mean assistant pastors will speak against homosexuality in the pulpit until we're out of them.

When we do, and I'm joking, I will do it, and that will be an arrestable offense or a fine defense or whatever. One of the candidates right now is saying that nonprofits or churches should not be tax exempt, and that will continue. I'm telling you, it's unbelievable what is being proposed that is totally against the Bible and against God. It's our turn to speak. What are we saying today? I think most of what we're saying today, I'm talking about as society, not just here in the United States, but around the world is anti-God's word. Most of it is. So we have to be careful of how we buy in to stuff, how we listen to stuff. That's why we need to be in His word, and we need to know what He said, because there's so much noise happening today. The things that man is saying is against what God has said. But after this half hour of silence, man is done speaking, now we have silence, there's going to be a lot of noise. Look at Psalm 2, verse 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
