Welcome in, welcome in to The Late-Round Fantasy Football Show, sponsored by DraftKings. David Kitchen here alongside JJ Zachariason and JJ. You were on vacation last week, but it's, I don't know. It's like the stats were piling up against you, basically.
**JJ Zachariason** (0:50)
This is the first like normal day that I've had since being back. We got back on Saturday, and this is Wednesday that we're recording this. I not only got sick on Thursday, so Thursday, Friday, kind of under the weather, just kind of pushed through with some Tylenol and whatever.
And that's why I'm a little congested now. I'm kind of on the tail end of it. But got sick, we got home. Or if you listen to Becoming a Best Ball Bro, you heard this, our upstairs AC was completely broken, which is where my office is and all my equipment and etc., etc.
And it's not very easy to move this stuff when you got kids running around and stuff like that. So that episode that you guys listened to on Tuesday, I was quite literally dripping sweat by the end of it. I mean, like had to immediately put the shirt in the gym hamper after I was done with it.
**David Kitchen** (1:45)
I mean, and I was getting nervous because that's where your guest bedroom was located. And that's right. I'll be flying to Camp JJ, and then we're going to be road tripping to the Fantasy Football Expo this weekend.
**JJ Zachariason** (1:59)
Yes. If anyone's there, say hello. Hopefully Harold Fandon's mom is there this year.
**David Kitchen** (2:04)
I don't think... I thought about this. Remember, because I was thinking also, we had our deal with the NFL.
Well, we were in talks with the NFL and I Heart Media back then about the deal. And part of it was the scroller. And we were watching the Hall of Fame games. We were like, how cool would this be if we saw that?
**JJ Zachariason** (2:27)
Will we get it this year? Will that be happening?
**David Kitchen** (2:30)
It could be, yeah, but the thing is the Expo is earlier.
**JJ Zachariason** (2:34)
Right, right, so they're not going to be like sitting there on TV while we're...
**David Kitchen** (2:39)
Right, like Carol Panen's mom was actually watching her son play.
**JJ Zachariason** (2:44)
Yeah, it's two weeks early. The problem with like, so the Expo is earlier this year.
It's usually the week after the Hall of Fame game. This year, it's the week before. You can't do it the week of the Hall of Fame game because it's in Canton and it's at the Hall of Fame. So you can't do it that weekend. So it's technically like two weeks earlier than when it typically is. So it's going to be a little bit different, but I'm excited because I know there's going to be a different set of people that are there, that aren't typically able to get there. So I'm excited for the trip. Honestly, after the way, I think I'm just excited to hopefully settle in and not have the chaos that's been going on. Not only that, this morning Kitchen, this morning, I'm getting the kids ready to go to their camp and daycare. And all of a sudden, I realized I can't find CJ anywhere, my three-and-a-half-year-old son, okay? I can't find him anywhere. I don't know what's going on. And so I start panicking because he's only three-and-a-half, and he's kind of crazy. And so I start screaming from the top of my lungs for him to emerge wherever he's at, silence, there's just nothing. And then all of a sudden, after five minutes of panic, we realized that he was hiding in my wife's closet, like we have the split closet situation. He was hiding in the closet in...
I remember doing this as a kid too, like going into my parents' closet and hiding, and being behind the clothing that's hanging and stuff like that. And he thought we were playing hide and seek and he didn't tell anyone. And despite the fact that I was yelling for him, he wasn't coming out. And so we had to have a little talk about how when we play hide and seek, we gotta let everyone know that we're playing hide and seek.
Yeah.
**David Kitchen** (4:28)
Yeah. That's scary. When you think you're kid, where's my kid?
