Welcome in, welcome in. It's Late-Round Fantasy Football Show. JJ, no hat.
JJ Zachariason (0:36)
No hat. No hat today. P Tripp in chat was right. He said no hat is a lock. And he was right. There's no hat. It's like he was in my room with me while I was prepping for this.
David Kitchen (0:46)
Yeah, that would be awkward. Welcome in, everyone. David Kitchen here alongside JJ Zachariason. And we are going to be walking you through this week on this special show that we have, JJ.
I'm just feeling so good right now. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's Friday. Maybe it's a lack of sleep from this week. But I just have a really good feeling that Sunday is going to go well for all the Late-Round crew.
JJ Zachariason (1:17)
I mean, that would be great because I genuinely hope that people... Because my teams have started out really well. I said it on the Sleeper Show. The Sleeper Show has been very mid to start the year. I admit it.
I want those picks to be better. And I've had good hits in the past in the Sleeper Show. Hopefully, with more data, they get better and better. And I said this on the Sleeper Show, but the draft stuff has gone really well so far. So I'm hoping that that continues. So if your feeling ends up being correct, then I will have a lot of 4-0 teams, which would be awesome.
David Kitchen (1:47)
Yeah, we don't want to jinx anything. So let's just hope that the draft guide picks still continue.
Speaking of draft guide, why don't I just give a shout to everyone that has already filled out the feedback survey for the draft guide. We had, I mean, you just never know. I told you this in our meeting this morning. You never know when you put out a survey, because I'm not like really a fill out a survey guy. We had so many people that have already filled out a survey, and we're already preparing for next year. JJ is holed up in his mom's basement for the remainder of the season. And myself, Brandon Cadula, we're kind of looking forward to what next year's draft guide could look like.
And we look forward to that, JJ.
JJ Zachariason (2:37)
Yeah, yeah, I appreciate all the feedback, and we're definitely using that feedback. You know, we get a lot of stuff. People in Discord know this for sure, and members have known this, that there's constant feedback coming in of wanting improvements right now and such. And I get it. I understand you want different rankings, iterations, you want this, you want that.
We're trying to do as much as we can, but it's in season. We're kind of at the point where it's like, this is what we're offering, this is what we got this year. But all that feedback's really helpful to make it around the best place that we can possibly make it.
David Kitchen (3:08)
Yeah. And if anything, the fantasy industry just continues to grow. I told you, I was shocked at how many people fill out the survey that are playing in guillotine leagues or chop leagues, the limiter leagues.
Just the little tentacles of fantasy continue to just branch out. And so that means a lot of people have many different needs. And we hope that the process and the players that we talk about in the draft guy that JJ mentions that helps you out. And you were helping us out by filling out that survey. Speaking of helping us out, we are looking for someone in the social media department, JJ, to help us out. I'm not going to say they need to be young because I'm not an ageist. But I will say I'm an unk.
I'm very much an unk, so I don't venture onto the TikTok streets much.
JJ Zachariason (4:07)
I do. I'm a big TikTok consumer.
David Kitchen (4:10)
Yeah.
I'm on, of course, X and Twitter and Reddit and YouTube and Facebook. That's really the unk where the unk people live.
JJ Zachariason (4:21)
Yeah. I've stopped the Facebook stuff. I'm really not there.
David Kitchen (4:25)
Yeah. So with that being said, we do need some people that are familiar with the Late-Round brand, that know the Late-Round brand, and that want to potentially help out with what we're doing. So if you're creative, even better. And so this is not going to be like something we post on, like, monster.com, if that's still around.
