You're about to listen to The Late-Round Fantasy Football Show, which originally aired on YouTube. If you'd like to catch the show live this season, you can head to the Late-Round Fantasy Football YouTube channel at youtube.com/atlate-roundff.

We'll be live every Friday at 1 p.m. Eastern. Without further ado, here's this week's episode.

David Kitchen (0:30)

Welcome in, welcome in. It's Late-Round Fantasy Football Show. David Kitchen here alongside JJ Zachariason. JJ has just been heating up this morning. I mean, he is firing on all cylinders and I know that he is ready to go. But JJ, how are you doing today?

JJ Zachariason (0:48)

I'm all right. First off, I think that was the best intro that you've had on this show in the history of this show. That was the playing on guy over and over again was very good. Very good.

Audio listeners won't know, like in the podcast feed, we cut off the kitchen intro.

David Kitchen (1:06)

They'll just have to go subscribe to the YouTube channel, you know?

JJ Zachariason (1:09)

That's right. But yeah, I'm okay. Last night, took some W's and L's with the way the things went with my own teams. If you listen to the Mailbag episode today, the bad part about dropping these episodes really early in the morning, it's good because we hear the feedback of we love getting them out there at 5 AM because then that way, they can listen to it right away when they go on their early commutes. That will never change. That's the benefit, I think, of what we're doing with the stuff at Late-Round.

But sometimes, you say things on the show that are going to happen on Thursday night and you jinx the crap out of it. On the Mailbag episode, I was talking about Pukunakua, and I mentioned how CD Lamb is kind of in that tier at this point after the game, the previous week. Then Lamb gets, he was kind of banged up going into that game and then he barely, he didn't play much overall in that game. And so we ended up seeing more, we'll get to the recap of the game in a second. But that's the downside of recording some of that stuff because now people are like, well, what an idiot talking about CD Lamb being in the same tier with Pukunakua. It's like, okay, I get it.

David Kitchen (2:15)

We'll also talk about Unks later. And as an Unk, JJ, you remember the rollover minutes back in the day where if you wouldn't use all the minutes in your cell phone plan, it could roll over to the following months. I saw someone asking for CD Lamb, like if they could use a little bit of the 40 point game last week.

JJ Zachariason (2:31)

I think about that all the time in fantasy. Like when guys just go absolutely berserk, I'm like, can I just have some of those points? I won by 75, I have a team with CD Lamb, I won by like 80 last week. I know. This week is when I need those points.

When Kenneth Walker's on by, that's when I need those points.

David Kitchen (2:46)

All right. Lots of stuff happening around the late-round brand. We have a new feature for members. So if you're an insider member or an all-access member, you know that we do the Tuesday night waiver Q&A show that JJ does.

And then now we have that as a transcript.

So everything that JJ has talked about, we had a new format that people loved this past week. We have taken that also and put it down to a written transcript that is now on the site in the Members Hub. Go to Members Hub, go to Weekly Transcript on Tuesday night, Wednesday mornings, and you will see everyone that we have talked about, including players at the bottom that are tagged. You can click that player and go directly to where JJ has talked about them the previous night. So that's a fun feature. Also, the Data Dump Show. Monday, 11 o'clock a.m., had our first show this past week and Brandon Gidula brought the heat, and it should only be getting better, JJ.

JJ Zachariason (3:49)

Yeah, I know. It was great. Lots of good insights and obviously, you have the Data Dump thread that I do every week that I work on Sundays, and then Brandon just adds more to all of that with the show on Monday.

David Kitchen (4:02)

Yeah, the Data Dump has just gotten bigger.

JJ Zachariason (4:04)

I know. I never thought that it was going to get as big as it has, and it's gotten to a point where like, do I want this?
