The Seventh Trumpet - Part 2

InGrace with Jim Scudder

October 13, 2026

Why will every believer stand before the judgment seat of Christ when a place in heaven is not decided there? Revelation 11:18 points to two different judgments, and Jim Scudder explains who stands before each of them.

God doesn't want you to have to be at the Great White Throne Judgment. If you've received eternal life by faith, you have two births. You have your first birth, which is your physical birth to your mother.

You have a second birth, you're born spiritually. And if you've had those two births, you're not going to face the second death.

Thank you so much for joining us today here on InGrace as we continue talking about the end times in the series Armageddon's Dawn. And today we're going to be picking up our study in Revelation chapter 11, and we'll be starting in verse 16, learning about the 24 elders and their worship. The Bible talks about falling on our face before God. And I believe that will be a very natural response. We will fall on our face before God because he is so wonderful and so amazing and so worthy. And these 24 elders will say, We give thee thanks, O God Almighty, which art and wust and art to come. That's old English, meaning, you know, when God talked to Moses and the burning bush, he said, I am, not I will be or I was. This is a God who is ever present. He always was, he always will be, and he is today and he's there for us. He's come in great power and is reigning, and he will literally reign on the throne of David in the future. But you think that the world would all bow down and worship this one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but we're gonna see in verse 18, that the nations were angry, which is sad. Well, we're gonna talk about this and more today, so stay tuned if you haven't got your Armageddon prophecy chart from us here at InGrace. It's free. You need to get it right now. We will be seated with God before the throne. You see here the scene of heaven. You see the choir of heaven. We see the 24 elders worshiping the Lord. Look at Revelation 11, 16 For the four and 24 elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell on their faces. So we have the choir of heaven singing the praises of Christ, and that he'll reign forever and ever. And then the 24 elders, as we've already studied, this group of leaders that are around the throne are on their thrones, and they fall on their faces and worship God. I can't wait to see these heavenly scenes of worship. What is real worship like? Saying, we give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art he is present and lost. He existed in the past and art to come. He will exist in the future. He is eternal.

You can't say that about us. You can say that about God. He's no beginning and he has no end. And those that know Christ is Savior, you also will be eternally with him forever and ever.

Because thou hast taken to thee thy great power and hast reigned. All of humanity that is redeemed will be sitting before the throne of God, privileged to worship, privileged to rule with him. Revelation 321, remember this. It said, To him that overcomeeth, will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with my father in his throne.

We've been praying a prayer, haven't we?

For decades and centuries, the prayer is in Matthew 6 10, thy kingdom come, thy will be done. Right? We've been praying that prayer. Thy kingdom come. Well, here it is. His kingdom has arrived. He is here, the last of the third woes. The Seventh Trumpet ushers into the final series of judgments, and then he sets up his kingdom on this earth.

The devil will be vanquished. Christ will be the victor and reign forever.

Now, the nations are angry at this. They think that they would see that they have erred and sinned, and they would get right. And I believe that people always have the opportunity to be redeemed. I don't believe it's ever too late, but the more you reject it, the more you hear it and reject it, the more chances that you'll get so calloused that you won't ever receive it.
