They've just come through all these judgments, and they didn't get it.
They didn't see, oh yeah, we've messed up, we've sinned. They actually got angry. The closer they got to the end, the worse they got against God.

Welcome back to InGrace. This is Jim Scudder. And today we are talking about the Seventh Trumpet. And if you know your Bible, if you know the last book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation, we have these series of judgments. The first seven are the seal judgments. And the seventh seal opened up a new series. It's like those Russian dolls. And the new series were seven trumpets. Well, we've been through all of those and we've seen these terrible things coming upon the earth and all this death and famine and blood shed from the sword. We've even seen these demonic locusts coming on the earth and all of these things. Well, today we're coming to the seventh trumpet. And we're in Revelation chapter 11, and we'll be starting today in verse 14, and we'll be reading about the third woe. And we're not talking about the woe, that stops the horse. We're talking about the woe, the calamity, the exclaiming of this terrible time and the world is gonna be suffering in the seven year tribulation period. If you need a little help understanding the end times visually, we've developed a chart. It's called the Armageddon's Dawn Prophecy Chart. And it's a beautiful tri-fold color chart that you open up and you can see where the rapture is, the tribulation, the different judgments in the tribulation, the Antichrist breaking a treaty. You have the return of Christ to the earth and the Battle of Armageddon, the glorious appearing of Jesus, Satan bound for a thousand years, the Kingdom Reign where the Lion and the Lamb lay down together for a thousand years, and then a final rebellion, a great white throne judgment, and sinners eternal doom, a new heavens and a new earth. It's all laid out in a panorama. And this really helps me because I do do better visually. When I see it, I get it. If you'd like to get the Armageddon's Dawn free prophecy chart, give us a call right now. We'll send it to you. 1-800-78-GRACE, 1-800-78-GRACE.
And we'd also love to invite you to Israel. We're going on our next Solidarity Tour in February. And this is a wonderful time to go to Israel. It's getting safer. I believe you can, the safest place in the world is in Israel. I've been there many, many times and I just love it. And I think it's wonderful. And I'd love for you to come show your support for Israel in Israel. To get a free brochure, call us. The number is 1-800-78-GRACE or go to ingraceradio.com.
We're talking about Revelation and Armageddon. When is Armageddon coming? Well, here's what we do at Quentin Rd. We're very unusual. We're really old fashioned and I don't want to apologize for it. We believe that this is the word of God, that it doesn't have errors, that we can trust it. We take an approach called the historical grammatical approach to interpretation, which is a fancy way of saying, we take the Bible literally when possible, which most of the time it's possible. Where we really get off track, and we've done this with both Genesis and Revelation, is when we say it's symbolic or allegorical.
When it's not. When it's clearly history. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. It's history. Don't read anything into that. That's what the author intended as he was moved along by the Holy Ghost. It's incredible to me that this was written over 2,000 years from the beginning to the end by over 40 authors of different cultures and times and languages, but it all has such a beautiful theme and it all fits together. This has to be of God. But when we take it and we say it's symbolic, like Revelation, many of you said, Pastor Scudder, I'm finally understanding the book of Revelation. It was so confusing to me because most people say it's not really gonna come to pass as it's written. It's not prophetic, it's allegorical or it's symbolic or it's already been fulfilled. Well, I don't find any of these things having happened on this planet by any stretch of the imagination. So therefore, except for the first three chapters, we find all of Revelation's future is prophetic. So we have to take that literal when possible approach and it really transforms our study of the Bible, especially the book of Revelation. Today, we're about to read about the third woe. Woe means anguish, grief, and affliction. The third woe is also the seventh trumpet judgment. So here we are in the church age. This age began at the Feast of Pentecost when the Spirit of God came down upon the people and they received the Holy Spirit and the church was born and it was a mystery. It wasn't revealed ahead of time. Because Israel rejected their Messiah, he has taken Israel as a nation and put them on the back burner. He's not done with them. That's why I love that America has by and large supported Israel. We need to support the Israel because they are God's earthly people. But they're in the back burner. Now the church is neither Jew or Gentile, male or female, bond or free, we're all one in Christ. This is the church age. When is the end of the church age? Well, the Bible talks about a rapture. Okay, it's a time when the Lord will descend from heaven to the clouds and gather the church up into the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. We see this event in Revelation between Revelation 3 and 4 All of a sudden, we've read about the church, the church, the church, the church. And then in 4, we don't see the church anymore. So then we have what's happening now in this seven year period called the Tribulation. When the Antichrist signs a seven year peace treaty with Israel, that's the start of seven years. And it will continue just as the Bible has predicted, starting with a peace, ending with what's called the Great Tribulation. During this time, you have the judgments. You have the seal judgments, the trumpet judgments, and the bull judgments. And Revelation is typically chronological going through those different judgments. And these different judgments, the bull judgments, are inside the trumpet judgments, which are inside the seal judgments. You ever seen those Russian nesting dolls?
