The Rebuilt Temple - Part 1

Hi, Jim Scudder here. Thank you so much for listening today to InGrace here on, is this the last day of, it is, today's the last day of September. And, you know, time goes by so fast. And I wonder what eternity is going to be like, because, you know, time isn't going to matter anymore. Listen, we have so much to study today as we're now turning the page in Revelation, and now we're in Chapter 11 And we're going to talk about something really interesting today. It's the Rebuilt Temple. You know, the Bible is very clear here in Revelation 11, but also in Daniel and other places, that there's going to be a temple in Jerusalem. Now, today you go to Israel, there's no Jewish temple. There's a shrine that is commemorating the Dome of the Rock, where Abraham offered Isaac. Now, that's not what the Islamists are commemorating, but that is what that spot means, and that's why the temple was there in part. But in the future, the Bible talks about a temple in the Tribulation period. And here, Revelation 11, it talks about this. These days, for a non-Muslim to go inside, so we went inside and filmed in there. We also filmed people that are involved in preparing for the Third Temple. The Temple Institute, the Heartmakers, the Incense, a guy growing Balm of Gilead and Frankincense in the area of Jericho. It hasn't grown in Israel for thousands of years, and now it's happening. Do we see in our news the beginnings of the end?

I think we do.

It's amazing all the things that we've been talking about in this series. If you have a TV on, you're watching the local or national news, or you're getting your news on the internet or radio or however you get your news, maybe that good old-fashioned newspaper, you're reading things about earthquakes, about natural disasters, about Israel and peace plans. You're reading about the coronavirus. People are really worried about all these things. Now, let me just tell you, relax, relax for two reasons. One, if you have trusted Jesus Christ as your savior, you're born again, you win, okay? So don't just be all panicking every little thing. I'm not worried about all that stuff. Everyone's panicking about these things, but you know what? We don't have to panic, but we seem to pick up on stuff. So don't just freak out on every last little thing. We do see all of these crazy things happening, and it's gonna get worse, certainly. You've seen nothing compared to how it's going to be in the Tribulation period. So we're gonna talk about the Tribulation today. Remember in our study, look at the prophecy chart. We are in an interlude, I believe, right in the midpoint of the Tribulation. We've seen the seal judgments. We've seen the trumpet judgments. The seal judgments were a series of seven things that have happened. Actually, the seventh seal opened up the first trumpet judgment, and all of these things have been pouring upon the earth in the first half of the Tribulation. Antichrist has been revealed, but he's created a peace. That will be this peace treaty. We'll go over that today. But the Great Tribulation, it's all Tribulation, but the Great Tribulation is the second half of the Tribulation. So that's where we find ourself right now. And we are in an interlude. This is in Chapter 11 of Revelation. We've come to a break in the action. A lot of Revelation is chronological, and we're going through it from the beginning. We read about the churches and about Jesus, the first three chapters, and then we find no more is the church mentioned until the end of Revelation. So we believe the church has been raptured. The rapture of the church, we're in the church age. There's not male or female, bond or free, Jew or Gentile. We're all one in Christ. But God will once again work with Israel, so the church will be removed at the rapture. And there's several major scriptures that deal with that. We believe it to be a literal event that's coming when?
