**Spike Feresten** (0:04)
Here we are, welcome to Spike's Car Radio. We're very excited to be here.
**Jonny** (0:08)
So excited.
**Spike Feresten** (0:09)
We've had a nice pre-show.
Lots of shit going wrong. It's Monday. The show airs Wednesday, but it's a good solid Monday of problems, isn't it? Without getting into it too much.
**Jonny** (0:19)
Yeah, lots going wrong in our personal lives and world.
**Spike Feresten** (0:23)
It's good, which makes it nice to be here with all of you. Yes. Yes.
Before we get going over the weekend, I noticed our show became unsold out at Pebble Beach because they have added a bunch more tickets. Fire marshal.
Be notified. Not a bunch, but they've added a few more rows of seats to the Pebble Beach Concourse show, which is Saturday the 15th. Is that right? What time is our show?
**Jonny** (0:55)
I'm losing my mind. I don't know what time is our show.
**Spike Feresten** (0:57)
It's probably in the morning around 11
**Jonny** (0:59)
10, 11
**Spike Feresten** (1:00)
And so far, it's going to be the fab four.
**Jonny** (1:02)
People have been asking me what time the show is.
**Spike Feresten** (1:04)
And I'm like, yeah, it's me and you. And it's Zuckerman and it's Jerry. And we're going to have a great time as we always do. I realize we don't have.
Usually you bring the Zuckerman heads or some Zuckerman heads. You do.
**Jonny** (1:15)
I have some. Yeah.
**Spike Feresten** (1:16)
Oh, fantastic. Yeah. OK.
**Jonny** (1:18)
Yeah.
**Spike Feresten** (1:18)
I'll bring some Sheffield watches. You bring some Zuckerman heads on. I'll write a little. I didn't I do a trivia, a Spike's Car Radio trivia. Yes, it was. I thought there it is. I thought, oh, it says sold out, sold out again. 10 a.m. 10 a.m. Oh, that's really early. Are you sure that's the right year?
**Jonny** (1:36)
10 a.m. Refresh for a second. Oh, no.
**Spike Feresten** (1:42)
Well, that's weird.
**Jonny** (1:44)
Maybe Wayne Carini will swap with us.
**Spike Feresten** (1:46)
Just check it anyways. Wednesday, maybe they haven't added the extra seats, but 10, but check. Anyway, there it is. Hopefully there'll be some tickets there.
That's weird because this morning there were plenty of tickets, they said. They said, look, we have, we have a couple rows of tickets. Maybe it's sold out again.
So that 10 a.m. 10 a.m. Here's what I wanted to talk about from last week's show.
And this is my mistake. We had a great cool down lap for our Patreon listeners. Easily the most engagement of any cool down lap we've ever done. I didn't have a plan for it last week. We were at Baldwin Hills and we came, we even said, I go, I don't even know what to talk about here. And we started talking about your 914 project, which I had forgotten about. And someone asked the question. Do you have the picture of this cool down segment? If you're not a Patreon subscriber, this is us chatting about the, you know, where we're at with the 914 And it's 10 or 11 minutes long. And here's where we landed. Let's let Zuckerman handle this. This car has been sitting with the guy who was going to restore it for seven years. Seven! And Jonny's been very, very patient with him and waiting. And there was a little bit of progress with seats maybe a year ago. But Zuckerman and I had, have had it. We had had it and said to you, let's let Zuckerman make a phone call on your behalf. See if we can, at the very least, extricate this car from the guy who's doing it. Maybe get you a little bit of money. You were a little apprehensive about letting him jump in and intervene, but at the end of this segment, you granted him permission to do so.
**Jonny** (3:31)
After the segment.
**Spike Feresten** (3:32)
I thought about it.
**Jonny** (3:33)
When I wasn't on air, I thought about it and said, all right.
**Spike Feresten** (3:35)
Well, Zuckerman, I have Zuckerman. Let me call Zuckerman. He has an update for you. We'll get a quick update from Zuckerman. He's at work right now, but let's see if we can get him. Do what you want. There he is. Are you too busy to give us an update on Jonny's 914? You contacted.
Go ahead.
**Zuckerman** (3:52)
I'm happy to give an update.
**Spike Feresten** (3:54)
So you got in touch with the fellow.
**Zuckerman** (3:56)
I got in touch with the fellow and I reached out. We had a very pleasant conversation. I explained that I could appreciate how he took on this job with the best of intentions become nothing but a lead weight around his neck.
