Hello everybody, welcome back to Dynasty Points. This is the Market Report. Took a little bit of time off to get some stuff cleaned up, some new updates for you guys on this program. You love so much, and we thank you for that. We appreciate everybody reaching out.

I'm excited to get into today. We have a little bit of breaking news that our Discord, which you can join in the link below into the description, has wanted us to talk about. So that is what we're going to start things off with. And that is that Josh Jacobs has been reinstated. They've informed Josh Jacobs that he will be removed from the commission or exemplist and be eligible to play in week seven last year. Josh Jacobs, near 16 points per game. Obviously losing him this year for your Dynasty teams and the way that we lost him hurt. I did not spend a lot of time moving Josh Jacobs around in my Dynasty rankings, not in the Dynasty trade tier sheet that we updated. I'm not expecting a whole lot, but I'm also not rushing out to buy.

Zach, I'm not rushing out to buy simply because it's not over. Yes, he can come back to practice. Yes, he's eligible to play in week seven. We know how NFL teams do this conditioning thing. Are they ready to play? Are they not? But also, the NFL is not done. They're still trying to get this footage, this video. And I have to tell you, I remember when Ray Rice was allowed back at practice and there was a big how do you do and then the video released after and he was never able to play another snap in the NFL again. And it feels like Josh Jacobs is going down the similar path now. I'm not a lawyer. I don't know what happened. And I'm not here to speculate that. But his being reinstated is not something I am just running and chomping at the bit to go and buy into.

I know I'm completely in agreement. This is an opportunity for any rebuilders, especially at this point in the stage of the of the season. You should kind of have an idea of your team identity. So if you're somebody that was rostering Josh Jacobs and you're not in position to make a playoff run, this is your opportunity to get out. But if you are a contender who was holding on to Jacobs, now you obviously have hopefully him for the rest of the season. It seems like the six games served are going to count towards whatever suspension that may have come down the pipeline, but you're 100% right, man. Like as long as this tape situation is out in the ether, and it sounds like the victim doesn't want the tape to come out and now obviously Jacobs doesn't either, but all of it is still very concerning.

I know this is a Dynasty show, but I was telling you, I had started to get out on the redraft streets. In fact, I had just dropped him on October 10th, just for six days later for him to obviously get reinstated. And so we were in this weird position where some teams with smaller benches and stuff, you had to actually make a decision here. But from Dynasty landscape, if you were holding all of that, you might as well just continue to hold. And if you're a rebuilder or a tweener, your opportunity is here to try and sell, especially after he starts next week.

And that's the important thing too. I, like I said, I didn't move him up, I didn't really move him down. I haven't panic sold because I got offered a couple of thirds. I couldn't even get a second out of anybody. So if he does play, does he return better value than that? I think he does personally. I don't think Lloyd or anything like that has been relatively impressive to me. So just something to keep note of. We wanted to really take a level headed approach to this because you will see a he's back go by or this is your last chance to sell. And it might be, but sometimes just the third is not worth the potential that this player could score for better or worse for your team. So I want to take a level headed approach to the Josh Jacobs news. This is kind of how we talked about this playing out over on the Dynasty Points Tuesday night show on the live when this news kind of broke early in the year. So nothing is really surprising here. I would say keep a close eye on it and follow along. That being said, Marshawn Lloyd has one week, one week to really grab ahold of this job. And of course, having Josh Jacobs back does run the risk of Green Bay altering how they're playing football right now with their high pass rate and the volume to the two standout wide receivers. It's hard to go off of that, but we know how MLF likes to play the game. So lots on the table here in the next couple weeks with Green Bay and Josh Jacobs. But for me, nothing has really changed. I'm not quickly buying and I'm not quickly selling.
