The Pitch Black Path Screams Towards Infinity

Jason Carpenter (0:01)

A crime wave strikes small towns and big cities across the country. How can you keep yourself safe? Then we take a look at the second most disgusting story involving insects. And then we take a look at the story of a young man speeding down a dark road late at night. He thinks he's just headed to his brother's house, but instead he's going to find himself headed towards the world of the weird. Today on Dead Rabbit Radio.

Hey, everyone, welcome back to another episode of Dead Rabbit Radio. I'm your host Jason Carpenter. I'm having a great day. Hope you guys are having a great day too. Hope you guys had an awesome weekend. Hope you guys had lots of fun. I saw the new Street Fighter movie. I liked it. I had a lot of fun doing that. But someone who hates Street Fighter, someone who lost thousands of dollars worth of quarters losing every time running into Dead Rabbit Radio Command. Everyone get on your feet and give a good karate chop to Brian Blackwood. Hi-yah! Oh yeah! Kick him! Kick him even harder. No, that's not hard enough. Kick him while he's down. Brian Blackwood, friend of the show. Brian Blackwood, longtime friend of the show, longtime friend of mine. We are both going to be as well as his girlfriend or wife. I'm not for sure. And I don't like using the word partner. It makes it when I hear someone goes, oh, and this is my partner. I think that it's some sort of superhero duo or supervillain duo. Girlfriend or wife, I'm not for sure. But Michelle Morningstar and Brian Blackwood, they're both authors. They're going to be with me at the Port Gamble Ghost Conference in Port Gamble, Washington, November 6th through the 9th. There will be more information in the links below. You can come and check us out. Brian Blackwood, like I said, is an author. I bought his book a couple of years ago. I still haven't finished it because I'm a real bad reader. I just don't really read a lot. I read articles and things like that. It's funny because I bought his book and I was like, I want to support my friend, but I don't read a lot. Then I go, I'll buy his audio book. That will make it easier. So I bought his audio book and same thing.

I think around the same time I got the audio book, I was walking less or whatever. But anyways, I listened to the first couple of chapters of the audio book. Yeah. Then I got a car not too long after that. Then I said, his book. I go, I'm going to read this before. Jason, you're like the kid of the conference coming up a couple of weeks from now. I was like, oh, I can finish this book overnight. I have his book sitting. I'll put links to the books in the show notes. I believe it's called Fractured. I have his book sitting on my desk. I go, I got to read this book. Well, the other day, I spilled Tabasco sauce all over it. So sorry, Brian. I actually think it might be autographed now that I think about it. I was looking over at his book. I mean, it's so funny because I'm always giving him shout outs and I'm talking about the most odd stories involving his merchandise. But yeah, I think I covered the book in Tabasco sauce. So I think you're about to get a new sale. I think I'm about to have to buy a new copy of your book because this new one I cannot read, but it looks like it's covered in blood and it is kind of an horror novel like urban fantasy. So it's fitting. Anyways, Brian Blackwood is going to be our captain or pilot this episode. If you guys can't support this show financially through the Patreon or the merch store or anything like that, just help start the word about Dead Rabbit Radio. That helps out so much. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell everyone you know. Dead Rabbit Radio is your favorite paranormal show. That is how you can help the show grow. Okay, Brian, let's go ahead and get this party started. I'm going to toss you the keys to the, this is a new vehicle, the Jason Jumbo Jet. It's like a big, we usually have a fighter jet, but this one's a giant Boeing 747 That would have been better. Give me those keys back, Brian. Everyone, here's a new set of keys, Brian. Everyone, climb on board the bunny Boeing as we take off from Dead Rabbit Radio Command, and Brian puts on a little captain hat and flies us all the way out to a hospital. This is the pilot speaking. Everybody put on your seatbelts. It's an alien. I don't know if that's a real pilot. Sounds like an alien. Take off in now. We're still eating our lunch. We're still putting our backpacks. Take off now. No, down.
