The P21 Masterclass | A Complete Research Guide (2026)
The Hunter Williams Podcast
October 6, 2026
P21 is one of my favorite brain peptides. It's also one of the least talked about. In this masterclass I break down everything I know about it. That includes the mechanism, the research, and how I actually use it.Here's the honest part up front. There is zero published human data on P21.

College football is back, so Hilton called on me, the superstition concierge, to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Wanna make sure our team doesn't wash your lucky jersey? Oh, that smells lucky.
Hilton's unmatched hospitality can keep up with any superstition. Even a marching band wake up call at 555 in 55 seconds. Hit it! When you need a team that will do whatever it takes on game day, it matters where you stay. Hilton, for the stay.

Hey, everybody. This is Hunter Williams. I hope you're doing amazing wherever you might be in the world today.
I am super pumped for today's Masterclass because it is going to be on one of my more favorite peptides called P21.
P21 is in the class of what we would call not necessarily nootropic peptides but peptides that are oriented for the brain. And it's got some really, really, really cool research behind it, which we'll go over today. Unfortunately, none of that research is actually human in nature, so it's much more out of cell and my studies that we're looking at some of the research. But it is a peptide that I have used extensively in my own life and then also seen do pretty well in the research of some of my clients as well. So we're going to dive in to P21. Before we get into it, I want you to know that this is not what would be considered like a stimulant or a nootropic in the classic sense, meaning that you don't take it and all of a sudden, it feels like you're Bradley Cooper in the Limitless movie. It's not like that whatsoever. However, when we look at creating the environment for a healthy brain, it's actually, in my opinion, one of the more powerful peptides. There's another peptide that's out there called Cerebrolysin, which, don't worry, I promise that I am working on a Masterclass for Cerebrolysin in the future. I'll get to that. But actually, before I do the Cerebrolysin one, I want to talk about P21 because P21 is a lot easier to access than Cerebrolysin in most cases. And I think for the effects that people are wanting to get out of Cerebrolysin, we can actually get a lot of those out of P21 at a much better price and also in much better convenience than using Cerebrolysin, which I'll cover more when we get to the Masterclass on Cerebrolysin.
So I'm pumped for this one. I think it's going to be really interesting and fun for you guys. And that's a variety of use cases. And myself as someone that has suffered from a lot of concussions in my younger years when I played football, I think it can be very useful in people that have either experienced concussions recently or have a history of concussion or TBI. And again, that's not something that I talk about a lot, but it is kind of one of my pet passion projects that have is helping people with concussions because it's something that kind of got me into this world. So we're going to cover everything related to P21 today, from the mechanisms, to the benefits, to dosage, all that good stuff. So strap up, it's going to be fun. Before I get into the slides, as always, make sure you are on the email list in the world that we live in. Censorship is always a threat. Just make sure if you want to stay in touch with me, the best place to do that is the email list. If we are to get kicked off of any platforms or anything like that. Also too, if you want more access to me, the best place to do that is inside my private group, the Axion Collective. We've got over 300 people there now. It's an awesome group. Alongside of me, you get access to some of the smartest people that I know in the space that are in there. It's a really cool group to just be able to bounce your ideas off of things that you're doing in there.
You should really check it out. Lastly, if you want to check out my AI Chat app, hopefully at the time of me publishing this, it actually will be live in the Google Play Store and the App Store as well. Once that is, I'll make sure I will have the link to that in the main link down below. But if you want an app-based version of that for iPad or your phone or whatever it is, you can check that out now. So without further ado, we're going to share the screen and today cover P21. All right, let's get into it. Today we're going to cover P21. This is going to be a complete user's guide. You probably, if you're in the peptide world, you may have heard of P21. It is definitely not one of the more popular peptides. And so we're going to go over everything today that I think you should know in terms of doing your own research. Like I said in the intro, P21 is not a nootropic in the classic sense. So it doesn't hit dopamine. It's not doing something like modafinil. So again, I'm not the biggest nootropic head. So a lot of people come to me like, hey, what are you taking to be able to produce content or work at a very high level? And honestly, my kind of answer to that is it always goes back to the foundations of hormones and mitochondrial health and sleep and foundational things and lifestyle like that. But we can use P21 to enhance the environment of the brain, especially as we look at, like I said, people TBI or even neurodegenerative diseases. We'll kind of cover a little bit today.
