Peyton Dix (0:00)
What'd I say?
Tefi Pessoa (0:00)
If you have long hair with layers, no one thinks you're fucking gay. I have, look at me.
I have to go like, you know what I tell people? Should I eat pussy on Maine? What do you want from me?
Peyton Dix (0:12)
it, yeah. Hi, this is Peyton.
Hunter Harris (0:27)
And Hunter.
Peyton Dix (0:28)
And this is Lemme Say This from Higher Ground.
Hunter Harris (0:30)
Today, we are kind of mentioning it all, should I say? We're going to be talking about Miami, my DNA is MIA. We're talking about dating red flags, Love Island after sun and what else?
Peyton Dix (0:44)
Oh, you're missing, you're bearing the lead. What are we talking about?
Tefi Pessoa (0:47)
Boston, no, Massachusetts.
Hunter Harris (0:49)
The COVID conscious Western Massachusetts Lesbian Bar. We will be getting into it all.
Peyton Dix (0:55)
Someone has to, legally we had to.
Hunter Harris (0:57)
And we brought in a special guest.
Peyton Dix (0:59)
Yeah, cut to the wide. So this is a little girl named Tefi Pessoa, little girl, host, writer, and good friend.
SPEAKER_4 (1:08)
Comedian. Comedian.
Hunter Harris (1:10)
And can I say our first ever guest. No.
Tefi Pessoa (1:13)
Oh, wait, yeah.
Hunter Harris (1:14)
Yeah.
SPEAKER_4 (1:14)
On the original run. You were our first guest.
Tefi Pessoa (1:19)
What did we talk about? It feels like years ago.
Peyton Dix (1:22)
Oh, wait, we talked about Selena and Benny Blanco. Blanco?
Tefi Pessoa (1:28)
Benny Blanco.
Hunter Harris (1:29)
Yeah.
Tefi Pessoa (1:29)
Blanco?
Peyton Dix (1:30)
Bad name, Loki.
Hunter Harris (1:31)
It is.
Peyton Dix (1:31)
It made it up, isn't it? Why am I just hearing that on my tongue for the first time? I'm like, that's fabulous.
Tefi Pessoa (1:35)
You say someone's name out loud, like when you meet somebody at a bar or whatever, and they say their name, they'll be like, oh, my name is like, I'm going to make this up, Marlon Brando or whatever. And you're like, that's a star's name.
Peyton Dix (1:46)
Someone said that once about Peyton Dix.
Tefi Pessoa (1:48)
Oh, they did.
Hunter Harris (1:50)
People say that a lot about Hunter Harris.
Tefi Pessoa (1:52)
Hunter Harris sounds like you sound like you are, oh, because of Kamala. I was going to say, okay, got it.
Hunter Harris (1:58)
But you do sound like Kamala. I'm reporting live on the scene.
SPEAKER_4 (2:01)
Put the gun down.
Peyton Dix (2:02)
You kind of remind me of Kamala.
Hunter Harris (2:03)
Well, I mean, light skin, big forehead. If I got a bee, loves to laugh.
Tefi Pessoa (2:07)
Okay.
Peyton Dix (2:08)
She does.
SPEAKER_4 (2:09)
She does.
Hunter Harris (2:09)
Can't really, no, I decide what I want.
SPEAKER_4 (2:11)
She dances.
Tefi Pessoa (2:14)
This is like her Kamala dance.
Hunter Harris (2:15)
And I am always saying, I love good news.
Peyton Dix (2:17)
Her dance is actually, you're giving her like more hips than she has.
SPEAKER_4 (2:21)
She's stuck in the shoulders a bit.
Peyton Dix (2:22)
She goes like this.
Hunter Harris (2:24)
Well, she has a white husband, of course.
Tefi Pessoa (2:26)
Doug, let's talk about the husbands.
Peyton Dix (2:31)
Okay, Tefi, lover or hater?
Tefi Pessoa (2:34)
Me? Love or hate Kamala?
Hunter Harris (2:37)
No.
Peyton Dix (2:39)
We got to move on past Kamala.
SPEAKER_4 (2:41)
I'm sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.
Hunter Harris (2:42)
It was like lover or hater.
SPEAKER_4 (2:43)
It's actually Michelle Obama.
Hunter Harris (2:46)
Do you consider yourself to be a lover or a hater in general?
Tefi Pessoa (2:49)
I think I consider myself to be a lover.
Hunter Harris (2:51)
Say more on that.
Peyton Dix (2:53)
That pregnant puzzle is crazy.
Tefi Pessoa (2:55)
Well, pregnant with emotion.
I think that I am some... I think that when I first entered the Internet landscape, I was a hater, but I think they have exhausted me because I feel as a woman online, I feel like a lot of people have these massive, massive followings from either the most intimate parts of their life or just ripping each other to shreds. So you can grow by showing your divorce, your breakup, your engagement, your first dates, your worst heartbreak, your pregnancy announcement, whatever, and then really bring people in, like a docu-series almost, or you can be a horrible hater and you have to stay that way. And then once you engage with that, you only get rage bait. And I think when I first came online, I was really, I mean, we're all like so unregulated after COVID. I feel like we're all like unmedicated, unregulated people walking around, but there's so much to be angry about all the time. And we put it all online. And I was like, I need to listen to what people like more than what people don't like anymore, because I'm starting to hate everything and see holes in everything and not being able to like enjoy conversation without thinking, Oh, I don't like that. You know what I mean? Like it bleeds into your neurotransmitters. So now I'm a reformed hater turned lover.
