Which I slipped away. We can see the results up on the screen. You can see them here. This was, does Andy Burnham have what it takes to restore confidence in Britain's economy?
Fairly thumping majority for no. Just to kick off with a confidence or lack of it. I know the problems are bigger than one leader says. Let's say 40% of our audience. Do you think our audience are being perfectly sensible there?

**Robert Peston** (3:00)
Look, I'm an optimist. Okay? I mean, you know, Keir Starmer himself said, and I thought he was very gracious about this. I mean, he said in terms, I was just in Turkey at the NATO Conference, and he came over and had a chat, and he said in terms that he felt he'd done what he could, as it were, for the Labour Party, and you shouldn't underestimate if you... I mean, I remember the 2019 general election, genuinely doesn't feel six years ago, extraordinary, when Boris Johnson came in with that 80-seat majority, and I said overnight that the likelihood is that with that sort of majority, the Tories would be in for 10 years, all right?
And you should not, despite the incredible self-harm the Tories did to themselves, you shouldn't underestimate the work that Starmer did to sanitize the Labour Party for many vectors, all right? Now, it is also true that the actual numbers of votes that they got in the last general election was actually fewer than they got in 2019, but they were more efficiently spread to use that bit of jargon.
But that was an achievement. But he has said, and he said in this little meeting that we had, that he recognized that this was no longer his moment, that essentially his colleagues and much of the country lost confidence in his ability to fix these problems in the run up to the election. Therefore, he felt it was perfectly appropriate to go. I genuinely, as I say, I think he is a decent man and I've got a lot of time for him, even if I still wonder why he wanted to be Prime Minister. So, it probably was the case that in order to get the kind of revival we all think hopeful, you needed a new leader.
