We do it every year. We draft the entire, well, there's obviously some quarterback battles and whatnot, and we can hash those out as we go. But we are drafting all 32 teams, and some of them will have to decide who that quarterback is. You decide it with your pick, essentially. And to remind folks how we do this, that's Ben Solak, of course.
We are drafting with, and I've been stayed with this the whole time, a three-year timeline. Contracts don't matter, and we're trying to remove the player from the context. So you are not drafting the aforementioned Brock Purdy necessarily because he gets to continue playing in the San Francisco 49ers offense. You're drafting him because you like Brock Purdy and his skill set. Does all of that make sense? Do you have any questions, complaints? Get them out now.

Yes, but the problem is I've definitely found myself breaking ties by being like, okay, well, his system is better than the other guys, and so he'll look better over the next three years, and I'll look more okay at my team back in the past. So I definitely like it was very hard to say like fully context out.

**Mina Kimes** (3:31)
Three years is always interesting as well because a couple of these quarterbacks are probably not going to be playing in two years. And then of course, it's always hard with the young guys, the rookies, right, to serve a total blank slate. The system tends to punish rookie quarterbacks, and that's not really a statement about them necessarily. You can be bold and say, I think Mendoza is going to be X in the league, but obviously, if you haven't seen him play, they're going to get punished, so don't get mad about it, if you're crossing vaccination or whatever.

I have Mendoza where I have Mendoza, but I as a thought exercise, like, okay, where would I put Arch, if I could do Arch in this draft? I would have Arch pretty, pretty high in this group.
