October 8, 2026

Throughout the latter half of the nineteenth century, as America spread westward, industrial tycoons made a fortune building out the nation’s infrastructure, and growing their already substantial wealth in the process.

Hey, Weirdos, I'm Ash.

Alaina Urquhart (0:02)

And I'm Elena.

Ash Kelley (0:03)

And this right here is Morbid. What the fuck is up, Kyle?

Alaina Urquhart (0:22)

We're back to Spookies.

Ash Kelley (0:24)

It's Spookiesism.

Alaina Urquhart (0:25)

It is Spookiesism. And we're glad you're all loving the last episode we did.

Ash Kelley (0:33)

It was some of the most fun we've ever had.

Alaina Urquhart (0:35)

It truly was, and I'm glad it's coming across that way.

Ash Kelley (0:38)

I know.

Alaina Urquhart (0:39)

It was unhinged. It's the best way.

Ash Kelley (0:43)

That was such a whirlwind of a day because we traveled to New York to record that.

Alaina Urquhart (0:46)

Yeah.

Ash Kelley (0:46)

Like back and forth in one day, and it was one of the coolest days I've ever lived.

Alaina Urquhart (0:50)

It really was. I loved it.

Ash Kelley (0:53)

It was great.

Alaina Urquhart (0:55)

We're going to make him come back. I think he was okay with coming back.

Ash Kelley (0:58)

I think he wants to come back to do something like True Crime or Weird History with us.

Alaina Urquhart (1:02)

Yeah. He wants to do a spooky thing.

Ash Kelley (1:04)

I think we should totally do that.

Alaina Urquhart (1:06)

So we'll do that.

Ash Kelley (1:07)

See you then.

Alaina Urquhart (1:08)

See you then, Matthew. That was lovely. Thanks for coming.

Ash Kelley (1:11)

We shall meet in New York once again.

Alaina Urquhart (1:14)

It really was. It was the most fun we've had, I think, in a really long time.

Ash Kelley (1:17)

That's one of my favorite episodes we've ever produced.

Alaina Urquhart (1:20)

Yeah, I think. And it was nice to see that people who are not drawn to guest episodes actually enjoyed it. A lot of people said it's their favorite episode. Yeah. They don't usually watch guest episodes. So maybe it'll entice you to watch a couple of other ones.

Ash Kelley (1:33)

Okay, give them a chance. We honestly, we have a lot of fucking fun with our guests.

Alaina Urquhart (1:37)

We do.

Ash Kelley (1:38)

I know guest podcasts can be tough.

Alaina Urquhart (1:40)

Yeah, like we get it.

Ash Kelley (1:41)

You're not always familiar with the person or maybe you're like just not a fan of them. But I've listened to other podcasts in the past where I've just like given it a chance and I've become a fan of someone who I previously didn't really know about. Yeah, exactly. It can be done right.

Alaina Urquhart (1:55)

Yeah, and we'll get Matthew, we'll make him a regular. Hell yeah. We'll force it.

Ash Kelley (2:01)

We have to.

Alaina Urquhart (2:02)

If we have to.

Ash Kelley (2:03)

Yeah.

Alaina Urquhart (2:03)

But it seems like he was down too.

Ash Kelley (2:05)

I think so.

Alaina Urquhart (2:06)

I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Ash Kelley (2:09)

Do you know what is not even a beautiful ending? Oh, they're getting rid of Mama Celeste pizza.

Alaina Urquhart (2:18)

I don't even know if I'm ready to talk about this.

Ash Kelley (2:20)

No, I have to talk about it because I might need to go to therapy over it, to be honest. And I'm going to name this man, who was the CEO who decided to get rid of this.

Alaina Urquhart (2:31)

I looked it up earlier. Are you guys fans of Mama Celeste pizzas, the little frozen pizzas, freezer pizzas?

Ash Kelley (2:38)

They're so good.

Alaina Urquhart (2:39)

They're fucking great.

Ash Kelley (2:40)

You put them in the microwave for like four minutes on that little foil plate. And John Braze, the CEO of Something Brands.

Why did you choose that, sir?

Alaina Urquhart (2:51)

Yeah, no, like I want to know.

Ash Kelley (2:53)

Call me.

Alaina Urquhart (2:54)

Because call me. It's bullshit.

Ash Kelley (2:57)

I will personally fund putting them back on shelves. I will make this my life's work.

Alaina Urquhart (3:03)

This is a travesty.

Ash Kelley (3:05)

I ordered 15 today.

I actually got in a fight with my husband because he was like, are you fucking kidding me? We have no room in the freezer for these. And I said, then we'll buy a new freezer. And he said, we're just going to buy a new freezer. And I said, yeah, Drew, we're going to buy a new freezer for my mama Celeste. And that's enough. Yeah. We made up. And now I have 15 mama Celeste pizzas. And he said he'll get me a freezer for them.

Alaina Urquhart (3:29)

This is serious.
