Welcome back to InGrace as we are in a series called Armageddon's Dawn. It's a Bible study in the Book of Revelation, understanding what is coming on this planet in the end times. And Revelation really is an amazing book. A lot of people are scared because of Revelation's imagery and things, and they don't think they can understand it. No, we can understand it. And we're talking about the future unveiled. How is it that God can tell us what's coming because he is outside of time? That's the God I want to serve, a God that is so big, he's outside of time. There will be wars and rumors of wars. And if you read the book of Revelation, you will see bloodshed, turmoil and war like we've never seen it before. And that's frightening.
And this is something that we know for sure. We have a guarantee. It's a guarantee isn't usually worth a whole lot. Do your warranties ever run out and then the thing breaks? Does it ever happen to any of you? That's exactly what happens to me. That's why I never buy the extended warranty, because the item never breaks until that warranty runs out. So save yourself some money. Now, if your item doesn't come with a warranty, it'll last forever. It's a wonderful thing. So just some helpful advice. There are certain guarantees in this world. Like, number one, if your hands are greasy, let's say you're working on a car. As soon as your hands get greasy, your nose will itch. I guarantee that. I also guarantee when you're working on some and you got a little small screw in your hand and you're trying to put it in, you will drop it. I guarantee you.
And I also guarantee that that little screw will roll into the most inaccessible place. I guarantee it. It'll actually go into a place you can't see.
You don't even know that that inaccessible place exists. I guarantee that.
There's a lot of things that we can guarantee in this world, but the Bible actually has the future that is unveiled, and it is going to happen guaranteed. The question we have is, who is qualified to unveil the future? And how is this possible? We can try to predict the future. We forecast the weather, but it's the best guess. Or if you're at a red light, you can predict that the light's going to turn green, and you're probably going to be right. If you're like me, you like to kind of go as soon as the light is about to turn green.
And there's plenty of people that are sitting in front of you that don't see the light turn green, because they're busy doing something else. Any of you annoyed by stuff like that?
We can try to predict certain things, but there's going to be a day when your prediction will fail because we don't know for sure that the power won't go out, or there'll be a glitch in that traffic light. We don't know for sure the future, but there is one who knows for sure, guaranteed, the future. Who is able to tell us what's going to happen tomorrow? What's going to happen next year? Wouldn't that be great if we knew for sure exactly what's going to happen? You could do pretty well in the stock market. You can do pretty well in real estate. There's a lot of ways to benefit from that. But that's selfish, isn't it? But God is going to reveal to us the future in the series that we call Armageddon's Dawn. Let me show you again our prophecy chart. In our prophecy chart, we're going to see the future. We are in what we call the age of the church, the church age. We will come to a point, we believe soon, that the church will be taken out. Those that have put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ will be what we call raptured. It's an event that is described several places in detail in the scripture. We believe that this will have to happen before this next major period in world history called the Tribulation. During this Tribulation, we're going to have the promise of peace by the Antichrist. And no, it's a peace, for shortly thereafter, there will be major wars and calamities. God will be pouring down his judgments upon the earth, and then we enter the second half of the Tribulation, which is called the Great Tribulation. It is all Tribulation, but the second half will be by far the worst. Those that have been raptured will be in heaven with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords doing two things. One, the judgment seat of Christ, and the marriage supper of the Lamb. And then we have the second return of Christ, the second coming of Christ. He came the first time in Bethlehem, the glorious appearing. Christ returns, the Battle of Armageddon, and then on into the future, where we have a thousand year rule and reign of Christ ruling on this earth, and then we have the terrible Great White Throne judgment. That won't determine heaven or hell. That will determine degree of hell. Hell is hell.
