All the times we've done this show, we've never had a goblin open it like that. It's first time ever.

And with all of the bits that we've done in the past, I absolutely recognized where that voice is from, and I can picture her little green face on the Undermine.

Ah, love the Undermine. It's good stuff. All right, folks, well, welcome in. We are your hosts. My name is Jibs, and I'm joined by Cash.

Hey, everybody. It's good to be here this week. If you live anywhere near Southern California, near ground zero of where BlizzCon was, you will know that it's about as hot as the surface of the sun right now, and it is October, which should not be happening. It should be fall. There should be leaves changing. There should be differences in weather that make it seem like pumpkin spice lattes are in order.

However, you better order it iced at this point.

Guess what the low is in Indiana tonight?

Something much better than 90 degrees.

You know, it's funny because, like, I will disparage Southern California quite a bit, but the weather, you know, like, that's why people move here, because the weather is super nice. I am so over it. I'm just done with the heat.

I just want winter.

Jibs (3:01)

Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah, me too. Me too. So how's Warcraft been for you this week, my dude?

Well, speaking of weather, Warcraft has been absolutely fantastic because I've been seeing all kinds of videos online about the weather effects that have been added into the Forever Beta.

Jibs (3:21)

Oh, man.

And for that reason, you and I were testing something out, which I think you're probably going to talk about. We were testing something out on Forever, and I rolled a paladin just for like five seconds so that I could be in Elwynn and experience what I was seeing in all those videos. And it's real, folks. Like the weather effects that have been added, particularly the rain, is phenomenal.

Yeah, my gosh, man. Yeah, it is phenomenal. I spent basically the last week kind of being off comms and just grinding on add-on stuff. And I was in the game, but I was just... My head was in another world, just working through getting add-ons tested and stuff, you know, trying to get all that done. And just so happens, as I was testing this stuff, I was inside the inn, the...

It's Lion's Pride, right? In Goldshire? Yeah. Anyway.

Oh, yeah, like you don't know.

Oh, what do you think I frequent that? What do you think I smell like bad decisions and naked night elves?

Yes. Yes, I do.

Granted, so do I, but that doesn't matter.

Yeah. And roleplay.

Oh, my gosh. Anyway, so I was in there, and I started hearing this pitter patter, and it sounds like rain, and I'm like, it's happening. It's happening. I have that meme stuck in my head from The Office one, and he's like, stay calm. Stay calm, everybody.

And I run outside, and sure enough, like you just said, dude, the weather effects go hard. Oh, man. It was so cool to see it.

Yeah, it's wonderful. And luckily, the lions probably didn't have a roof leak because it's coming down pretty hard, but it's just it's neat. Like, if you haven't seen it, folks, go check out those new weather effects. I think they're they're pretty fantastic. But for the rest of my week, I played a little bit more on my hunter in Forever. I raided with the guilds or our weekly clear in retail.
