If the visionary of the company is constantly dealing with personal financial anxiety, they will make desperate, short-term business decisions to survive. Whether you take owner's draws or run a formal payroll, you have to feed the architect. If you starve yourself, you kill your ability to lead with confidence. Second, you have to separate your corporate treasury from your personal net worth. People do not achieve true financial freedom by leaving all their equity trapped inside their LLC. They achieve it by strategically extracting capital to build outside investments.
