Just when you thought it was safe to eat food prepared by other people, a terrifying true crime tale emerges of a woman who bit off more than she could chew.
And then, we're all familiar with the phenomenon known as Missing 411, this idea that anyone at any time could be hiking through a forest in America, and mysteriously vanish.
But what if there's a simple trick to getting out of these situations? What if an old timey life hack could do more than hack your life? It might save it. Today on Dead Rabbit Radio.
Hey, everyone, welcome back to another episode of Dead Rabbit Radio. I'm your host, Jason Carpenter. I'm having a great day. Hope you guys are having a great day, too, and I hope you guys had an awesome weekend. Over the weekend, we had our eighth anniversary live stream special. It was a lot of fun. I wish you could have been there. Maybe you were. Maybe you were one of the people who were there. It was a lot of fun. It actually was the longest I've ever done. It was about two and a half hours. And I will get it uploaded as an audio only version to the podcast side soon. I made a technical mistake and I have to download now a two and a half hour video from YouTube and convert it and all that stuff. I didn't record it with my podcasting software as well. But someone who never makes mistakes, someone who is as perfect as a kitten's paw in the snow running into Dead Rabbit Radio Command, everyone get on your feet and give it up for Vappy. Woohoo, yeah, Vappy's running on it. Maybe it's Vapey, I don't know, one of the two. It's either someone who's Vapid or a cloud of smoke going into our lungs. Vappy is a Patreon member who recently upped their Patreon donation. So really, really appreciate that, Vappy. That is why you are going to be our captain or pilot of this episode. If you guys can't support the show financially through the Patreon or the merch store, it's totally fine. It really, really is. Just help spread the word about Dead Rabbit Radio. That helps out so much. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell everyone, you know, Dead Rabbit Radio is your favorite paranormal show. That is how you can help the show grow. We got a lot of stuff to cover today. I do want to say this before we get started. We have about three weeks left of, I think this is season 31 And then I will be gone for a month. However, I won't leave you completely hanging. After that, we're going to have six episodes or two weeks of Dead Rabbit Radio classics, some behind the scenes of classic episodes for you. I always enjoy doing those. I think they're a lot of fun. And then we'll have two weeks of retro rabbits, some reruns, and then I'll be back. It's my typical take of a month off during summer from work, go hang out with family. So, I'm looking forward to it. Watch a lot of fun movies with my mom. Okay, Vapy, let's go ahead and get this party started. I'm gonna go ahead and toss you the... Let's go classic. I'm gonna go ahead and toss you the keys of the Jason's Loppy. Everyone climb on board this chiddy-chiddy-bang-bang style car as Vapy drives us out of Dead Rabbit Radio Command all the way out to Oklahoma.
Beep beep. Specifically, we're headed to Broken Bow, Oklahoma. It's March 2026 We're driving all the way out to Broken Bow, Oklahoma. And you know what? I'm like, yo Vapy, I'm feeling kind of hungry. Actually, right now my stomach's like, I don't feel good at all. I feel actually kind of sick in real life. Last night in the middle of the night, I had to clean up cat diarrhea, which...
In one hand is less gross than the story I'm about to tell you. On the other hand, like it was obviously was disgusting. It was kitten diarrhea. That makes it any grosser. Like, you know, it kind of makes it more cute. It's a little kitten going, squeezing those little whiskers together as badly digested wet cat food comes out of the kitten's anus. It's adorable. It was like, I don't know, two, three in the morning. It's three in the morning, actually. I remember specifically because I was just going to bed and I was like, what's that terrible smell? And I go, I'll clean it up tomorrow. Because, you know, other people were asleep in the house, the kittens were asleep, I didn't want to make a big ruckus messing around with the litter box. So I get into bed and I can't sleep if something smells bad. I can sleep in loud noise areas. I can sleep under bright light, but I can't sleep around bad smells. Bad smells actually wake me out of a deep sleep. So I'm like trying to cover my nose and I figure, you know, eventually I'll get used to the smell. I didn't know it was kitten diarrhea at this point. I just thought it was normal cat poop in the litter box in another room. And I'm laying there, I'm trying to go to sleep. I can't sleep with covers on my face. It's just a terrible thing all around. And finally, after about a half hour, we're trying to fall asleep. I go, fine, I'm going to have to track this down. I'm going to make a ton of ruckus. I got to clean this poop up. And that's when I realized that it wasn't cat poop, it was kitten diarrhea and it wasn't in the litter box. It was in the bedroom I was trying to sleep in. And that's why I was like, why is the smell getting stronger? Shouldn't my nostrils have gotten used to it? Nope. So about 3.3 in the morning, I'm trying to clean up kitten diarrhea, a lot of it too. I mean, I thought we should weigh the kitten in the morning, make sure it still has all of its internal organs. A lot of it. You know, it obviously was gross. I hate poop as much as I cover stories about that on my podcast. I think it's absolutely disgusting. But the other thing is I hope I didn't get some kitten stomach disease. Jason, this is the second time you thought you might have a kitten disease. First one was an eye disease. By the way, how are your eyes? They're still acting up. Still pretty itchy. And then I might have a kitten intestinal disorder now.
