The Doctor Dilemma

The Sebastian Maniscalco Show

October 13, 2026

Sebastian and Pete are airing out their recent medical issues and seriously questioning how doctors manage to deal with the general public every single day. Back at home, a major household debate is brewing: if you put a kitchen appliance away in a cabinet, does it basically cease to exist?

And now, The Sebastian Maniscalco Show.

Sebastian Maniscalco (0:03)

All right, here we go. Exciting, exciting day for us here. Pete, what's going on? We got, my brain is kind of scattered right now. I'm trying to figure out what to open the show with. All right.

I don't even know how to bring this up. And I don't know where this is coming from, but I have what seems to be an irritation on the back of my thighs. There's a, it feels almost like a rug burn, right? Yeah, yeah. But also, there's no real kind of, there's like not a rash or anything that's significant.

It could, might be nerves, might be like a nerve damage, right? Yeah. Heavily though, on my right side, and just a little on my left, I want to, I want to, this started two weeks ago, right?

And I got up the other night, and I'm sitting on the toilet seat, and I'm like, could this be a reaction from sitting down on a toilet seat backstage at one of my shows? What should take on picking up a rash off of a toilet seat from a foreign toilet? Do you think this is possible? Well, I looked it up. Let me just tell you. I looked it up on ChatGPT, and it said it could be from maybe a cleanser. Normally, I line a toilet. I don't want to get it too graphic. Yeah. I had an episode. I had a stomach problem at one of my shows, and I needed to go to the toilet right away. So I didn't line the toilet. I just had one of those where you just had to sit down quick.

Pete Correale (2:35)

Yeah. Yeah.

Sebastian Maniscalco (2:36)

Okay. Do you think I could have picked up a disease from the toilet seat backstage?

Pete Correale (2:43)

Let me ask you this. Is it a venue that sometimes has rock and roll? Oh, you got something from the drummer.

Sebastian Maniscalco (2:56)

I thought the same thing, right? Yeah. Did I pick up rock and roll violence?

Pete Correale (3:05)

That's what I'm saying. Like if you were playing at the Kennedy Center, I'd be like, oh, who was on the bowl before me? Obama something like, you know, no problem. But you got you got rock and roll going on, you know. I don't know, bro. That's it. That's it.

Are you really thinking that too, man? No, I was thinking that it was kind of like. Old band?

Sebastian Maniscalco (3:29)

It's a venue where a lot of rock comes through. It's an outside venue, right? So I'm thinking either that or I read that it could have been some high powered clean cleaning solution they used to get the rock and roll virus.

Pete Correale (3:49)

Shit.

Oh, man. Sadie, long story short, she went with a friend. They were going to go see a concert and they go, we don't even care. The parents are taking them. And there ended up being a band you wouldn't know called Sublime. And they like, I shouldn't have let it go. But they left early. Her friend was getting sick from all the pot smoke. And then I was talking to our mutual friend, DJ Lou, and he's like, yeah, they like a reggae rap band. And he goes, I went to see them once and I had to leave because of the pot, right?

If like a band like that played two days before you, I'm not saying it's one of them guys, but if a roadie got back there or something, I'd get that checked out. You luckily got a doctor on speed dial. Did you give him a buzz yet?

Sebastian Maniscalco (4:28)

I think if it let, listen, I think it's going away. I think, I don't know. But come Monday, if I still got this, I'm going to do a dermatologist. I mean, again, there's no, there's no visual.

I gotta admit something to you. I mean, I've always been honest on this cast and I have to be honest with you on this story. I took a picture of the back of my thighs, my hamstrings, basically. I took a picture of it. It's literally right below kind of like where your ass meets your leg. You know what I'm saying?

Pete Correale (5:09)

Yeah. Okay.

Sebastian Maniscalco (5:10)

So I took a picture of that with my underwear on, just kiked my underwear up. I took a picture and, oh, God, I looked at my leg. And if somebody showed me this picture just randomly going, what do you think of this leg? I'd go, Jesus, is that guy okay? Like, just the leg. I'm not talking about, there's no rash.
