Welcome back to Bravo Breaking News with Kim and Lisa.

The timing could not be more wild because Whitney Wild Rose has officially filed We also heard about their divorce from Justin, just as this week's episode of Salt Lake City is putting everyone's relationships under the microscope. And let's just say, Brittany isn't the only one doing some investigating, because I also did a little of my own.

Lisa Konen (0:44)

Oh, okay. Well, I can't wait to hear what you found out. We also had the finale of Ultimate Girls Trip. I'm so sad to see them go off of our screens for now.

But we got King Andy Cohen, Zaddy Andy in the building at Bluestone Manor. And of course, the women immediately started acting up in front of company. How could they do this? Question mark. Like, honestly, what were they thinking?

Kim Mykitta (1:13)

What were they thinking? I have a lot of thoughts about what went down at Bluestone Manor this week. The audacity that some of these housewives have is truly beyond. So without further ado, let's dive into the news of the week because it is very relevant.

Lisa Konen (1:56)

Yeah, OK, so Whitney and Justin have officially filed for divorce. So we know that they've been separated. It's been a storyline thus far on this season of Salt Lake City. And I guess today it's official. So they are going to be parting ways. It sounds like there is a agreement that was proposed in terms of custody of the kids. And I just really hope for the kids' sake that this stays amicable, and that they can co-parent and put that first, and that it doesn't get too messy or ugly.

But Kim, where do you think this is going to go?

Kim Mykitta (2:37)

Well, yeah, I would say I'm actually not surprised at all that they moved forward with this. Whitney is the one that filed. It's always interesting to see who filed, especially kind of following this week's Real Housewives of New York, about Sy's divorce, because her husband is actually the one that filed. So I'm always now paying attention to who's doing the filing. Whitney's doing the filing. This was her move. And I think it's for the best.

I think that, I don't know, it just seemed like obviously ever since that business deal with Wild Rose Beauty, they were not coming back from that. And I don't think they still have come back from that. And I don't know how they're going to move forward. I do think that as parents, I think that they're going to continue to co-parent well. I think where it might get messy is the financial side of things, because that is kind of ultimately, I think what dissolved this marriage. These business dealings, Whitney put all of her money into this and then seemingly lost all of her money in it as well.

And if we remember, like Justin also had like a high, you know, high up corporate job until that like racy scene of them, like body painting each other, and then he lost his job because of that, and was like a stay at home dad. That was a whole thing. So I feel like these financial issues are really at the root of their marriage. And I am worried that that is going to be the contentious part of this divorce.

Lisa Konen (4:13)

Yeah, I think you're right. And it is, that does make me sad because I don't know, some spouses, they can go into business together and it works out great. But other times it's sort of best to separate church and state and not, you know, co-mingle those things. Because if there's a decision made that doesn't pan out, like that resentment can build and build. And it seems like Whitney just can't move past that. And yeah, I totally agree with you. I think the finances are going to be front and center because is her brand still around? Like does she have other sources of income? Does he have other sources of income apart from the show and, you know, her doing brand deals?

I'm not really sure at this point.
