Hey, Weirdos, I'm Ash.
Alaina Urquhart (0:02)
I'm Elena.
Ash Kelley (0:02)
And this is a rainy day Morbid.
Alaina Urquhart (0:20)
Oh, it is.
Ash Kelley (0:21)
Today, I hear the pitter patter. Oh my god, today is the most beautiful day ever.
Alaina Urquhart (0:25)
It's feeling fall.
Ash Kelley (0:26)
I woke up, and I looked at the weather, and it said, feels like 65, and I cried.
Alaina Urquhart (0:31)
That's tears of joy.
Ash Kelley (0:33)
And then I put on a new sweatshirt that I didn't know had thumb holes.
Alaina Urquhart (0:37)
Oh, that is nothing better.
Ash Kelley (0:39)
Nothing better than a thumb hole. Nothing better. And a new sweatshirt.
Alaina Urquhart (0:43)
It's sweat-a-weather, but it's also sweatshirt weather.
So, I am into it. We put on Halloween Town this morning. yeah. While we eat our breakfast. It was beautiful. I'm going to bake today.
Ash Kelley (0:56)
I'm going to bake today.
Alaina Urquhart (0:57)
What are you making? I'm going to make some apple crisp. I'm making apple crisp. Hell yeah.
Ash Kelley (1:00)
Drew specifically wanted apple crisp.
Alaina Urquhart (1:02)
I'm going to make some pumpkin loaves. What app?
Ash Kelley (1:04)
Do you use honey crisp apples?
Alaina Urquhart (1:07)
Yes.
Ash Kelley (1:07)
For your apple crisp? I do.
Alaina Urquhart (1:08)
I usually make them too. They work really well. Yeah. Yeah.
Ash Kelley (1:11)
What else are you going to make?
Alaina Urquhart (1:11)
I'm going to make some pumpkin loaf. And I'm going to make some crockpot meals.
Ash Kelley (1:17)
I'm going to do a crockpot meal today too.
Alaina Urquhart (1:18)
Yeah. I'm going to try to meal plan for the week.
Ash Kelley (1:20)
Yeah. I'm going to make egg bites, and I'm going to make extra for you.
Alaina Urquhart (1:23)
I love that. I love your egg bites. How do you make a mean fucking egg bite? She makes a mean egg bite.
Ash Kelley (1:28)
I just put cottage cheese in it, and I immersion blend it, and then just spices and cheese. It's really good.
Alaina Urquhart (1:32)
That's where it's at.
Ash Kelley (1:33)
Yeah, truly. And I get one of those silicone things to cook them in. I think that helps, but you got to put it in a water bath, much like a cheesecake.
Alaina Urquhart (1:40)
You got to bathe it. You got to bathe it. Yeah.
Ash Kelley (1:42)
I'll buy them.
Alaina Urquhart (1:43)
That was one of the things that my youngest son last said. I was just thinking about that, because we were like, it's bath time. And she was like, oh my God, we have to bathe every day. Like she was just like, you're the worst parents.
Ash Kelley (1:55)
You're like, listen, you won't smell, okay?
Alaina Urquhart (1:56)
The kids are gross, man.
Ash Kelley (1:58)
Like, yeah.
Alaina Urquhart (1:59)
Also, they were like me. They were outside a lot yesterday. Like you were running around barefoot outside.
Ash Kelley (2:04)
Yeah. Like, sorry, I won't allow you to track dirt into your bed, my bad. She was like, oh God. She was like, fuck y'all.
Alaina Urquhart (2:11)
Like, damn, sorry about it. She's crazy. She is crazy.
But yeah, I don't know if we have any business really.
Ash Kelley (2:21)
I don't think so.
Alaina Urquhart (2:22)
Because I think we're getting into spooky season. So of course that, you know, that'll start bringing the spooky spooky.
Ash Kelley (2:30)
Somebody pointed out, we haven't said Proctober.
Alaina Urquhart (2:32)
Oh my God.
Ash Kelley (2:33)
Yeah, we are remiss for that.
Alaina Urquhart (2:34)
Thank you for reminding us.
Ash Kelley (2:35)
Yeah, thank you.
Alaina Urquhart (2:36)
We were saying this for you, the person who said that.
Ash Kelley (2:37)
We were saying pre-October still, but at one point we realized we could say Proctober.
Alaina Urquhart (2:41)
Yes, John Proctober.
Ash Kelley (2:43)
Yeah, and right now it's Proctober, bitch.
Alaina Urquhart (2:44)
It's Proctober. I also, I need to have a Salem trip. I just need, I need it.
Ash Kelley (2:50)
We should go to Salem soon.
Alaina Urquhart (2:51)
No, I literally need it. Like my, it'll heal. And again, as always, if you're going to Salem this year, I don't live there, but be nice, because people live there. Yeah, that's the thing. And I think this is the time of year when the poor people who live there and have businesses there are like, like, gurgle your loins. And like, most people are off, like, honestly, great in Salem. But most people are awesome when they go to Salem, you know, like, know how to be humans, but there's always a group that comes from, like, somewhere else.
