Hey, everyone, welcome back to another episode of Dead Rabbit Radio. I'm your host, Jason Carpenter. I'm having a great day. Well, we'll get to that in a second, but I am having a great day, overall. But I hope you guys are having a great day. You're like, are you having a great day or not, Jason? It's kind of a binary question. I hope you guys have tons of fun and plans for the weekend. I'm really not doing anything. I'm getting ready for a big trip I'm gonna take soon. But somebody who I hope has a long life of fun and plans ahead, it's kind of an ominous introduction. Yeah. Yeah. The little kitten Annie. Recent listeners of the show, we found these barn kittens the other day. We found these stray kittens, Annie, Leeroy and Venus. They didn't have name tags. That's why they named them Annie is short for Annihilator. Annie is not doing too well, unfortunately. Annie is an eight-week-old kitten and starting to fall behind his siblings. Jason, this is a sad way to start an episode. Yeah, I'm not feeling great either. Feeling kind of sad. The little Annie here is my favorite. It's the one I bonded with the most just like immediately. But Annie is not doing too well. Now, the vet isn't super concerned, but little eight-week-old kitten is sneezing and starting to have tremors. Jason, I want to listen to this episode. That's super sad. Annie was on the live stream. She's adorable. Yeah, she is. And I hope she doesn't die over the weekend while you're out having fun enjoying the summer sun. Just think of little Annie. Listen, on the one hand, I think Annie will be fine. On the other hand, I'm obviously really concerned. It's a cute little kitten and I love her. So we're going to have Annie fly us around, drive us around. You're like, I donate money to this show specifically for a shout out and some dying cat gets ahead of me. I'm sorry, guys. I'm sorry if my dying kitten is inconvenienced, you know. No, I know no one would say anything like that, but yeah. And then just keep Annie in your thoughts and prayers this weekend because, you know, Annie, you know, had the worst of whatever infection, upper respiratory infection that's going on. We've been giving her medicine and stuff like that, but the mama cat started feeding her separately from the other ones and Annie started having little tremors and stuff like that. So we're just trying to, you know, keep her going and getting her back to where she needs to be. So Annie is going to be joining us. I'm depressed too. I know, I know, but we're going to try to make this episode uplifting. Hey, this is Jason from the future here. I just want to reassure all you guys that I recorded all that about two days ago. Annie is is doing OK. He's doing OK. We actually are taking him to the vet tomorrow. Maybe today, depending if they have an opening. But we made an emergency vet visit. He just congested, you know, having a little snot coming out of his nose. You know, I'm worried about a little guy. I will say this. He does not have tremors.
Listen, you know, Sabine said that was the most alarming part, obviously, Sabine said he was having tremors and I go over there and he was looked like he was shaking a little bit, but he hasn't done that in the past couple of days. He doesn't have tremors, so that's good. He's just not eating a lot. He beats up the other kittens while he's supposed to be nursing. He like steps on him and pushes him away. And then when he is free to eat, he just will walk away. He's just kind of a dick, honestly, that's why I love him so much. But anyway, just to asuse your fears, Annie is sick, yes, but he does have an emergency vet visit tomorrow by the time you listen to this episode. So I'll keep you guys posted. But I just want to that way you weren't worried the whole weekend. I recorded the majority of this episode two days ago. So he's doing fine from when I recorded this.
