Hey, good morning, everybody. Welcome to The David Samorano Show, live from the Live The Dream Media Streamverse Network out of Marana, Arizona. It's good to be back. It was a busy weekend, had lots of fun. We were out at the patch again, doing our thing. And I can't believe that the season's already almost halfway over. It's just really crazy. And the weather's been kind of kind of good, you know, the besides the wind we had the other day, which that was pretty gnarly.

Temperatures have been reasonable. There's been a little bit of rain and wet in the ground and cool in the air. And I just think that you really can't ask for anything better than that this time of year, because I do recall, it might have been last year or maybe the year before, it was like 107 degrees in October. And that's, to me, that's just unacceptable. That's crazy. But anyways, it's great to be here this morning. I got to introduce this cup that I have here from my wife and kids.

Edgar Soto (1:24)

I was curious about that cup. I want to hear more about it.

David Samorano (1:27)

This is a Sasquatch Lig.

Good morning to all the coffee drinkers, if you are drinking some coffee. Cheers, Edgar.

Edgar Soto (1:38)

Welcome to the show this morning.

David Samorano (1:40)

It's great to have you on here. You know, I flew in here, not literally, but I got here as fast as I could. And we had to do a little bit of shuffling between the studios this morning, which, you know, sometimes things happen and we just have to go with the flow. But Shay is doing a great job just taking care of business here in the studio. Hey, you know how I roll. Every time we get started, I do my best to start off with some humor and some fun.

And I'll be bringing that up shortly. I just want to remind people today, you are included in what is going on here. So if you have questions for Edgar, I am monitoring the chats. Go ahead and ask him if you have something, a particular issue you want to hear his feedback on or what he's going to do about some, or policy change, whatever it may be. Feel free to ask you here in the chat.

I have a list of questions for him, too. You know what I mean? And I'm just going to be clear, guys. I am an independent. I feel very comfortable with talking to folks on both sides, finding common ground, because sadly, the way the world has changed and turned is everybody likes to just fragment and go to these extremes. And I don't think that a lot of work gets done there. I think a lot of conversations need to be had right there in the middle, because you'll be surprised at how many things we have in common and stuff that we're trying to accomplish. When I've talked to folks on both sides, just in general, I find that both feel like they're doing the right thing.

And I think people forget that. So before we get started and all that stuff, let's have a little fun here. So here's the meme of the day. It is, the older I get, the more I hate making extra stops after work. I drive home like I'm late for the house.

Edgar Soto (3:26)

I can relate with that. I can relate with that. I'm going to be 57 this year. Yeah, and yeah, I can relate with that when I'm driving around. And sometimes you're wondering, okay, where's the closest restroom here?

David Samorano (3:41)

I posted it and instantly it went nuts right away on Facebook. And I captioned it as, got to make sure that I'm home, so I'm home.

Edgar Soto (3:49)

Yeah, exactly.

David Samorano (3:51)

So let me, I'm sharing the show here.

Edgar Soto (3:54)

I just realized something.

David Samorano (3:56)

Talk to me.

Edgar Soto (3:56)

I've been spelling your name wrong. I put, where there's the O, I've been putting the A for some reason. I don't know. Is there a different spelling for your name for other Samoranos out there?

David Samorano (4:07)

So that has been happening since my existence.

Edgar Soto (4:11)

Oh, all the time.

David Samorano (4:13)

A lot of times the A will get put in there. It is with an O.
