Hey, good morning, everybody. Welcome to The David Samorano Show. Following up an awesome episode of Wake Up Live here, we're finishing off the week with just some great guests. Today, I'm going to have Mayor, Rana Mayor Jon Post on with us to talk about some conversations going on around in the community, some of them to be true and some of them that may be misleading. So we're going to cover that stuff. And then after my show, Bob Elliott is going to be on and he is going to be bringing Susan Gray, who is the CEO of TEP. So another great show after this. And then we get to start the weekend. How cool is that? Hey, I just want to share, recently, our network has upgraded all of our audio servers and sounds. So if you are one of our online radio app users, You have probably noticed this morning a significant change in the audio quality, which is something we're really excited about. So really want to thank our team for putting that together and getting that done. And we're going to continue some more updates next two months or so. So we look forward to doing that. All right, let's get into it. I want to just start off with the meme today. I know, Tony, you're working really hard. But at some point, we're going to pull that meme up. And I just really want to express how frustrating this meme is going to be coming up is because I feel like I live this almost every single day. And it is my favorite adult hack is when I carefully and thoughtfully put something very important away so I can't lose it, and then I never find it again.
So this happens to me often. And Jon, I don't, you know, I called it, I posted it and said, strategically lost.
Jon Post (2:16)
That is the, that is awesome. Because that happens. Okay, I'm never, you found something, right? You've been looking for it, looking for it, looking for it. You finally found it. And then you're going to put it somewhere so that never happens again.
SPEAKER_4 (2:31)
Ever.
David Samorano (2:31)
Right.
Jon Post (2:32)
And then you can never find it again.
SPEAKER_4 (2:34)
No.
Jon Post (2:34)
It's just, it's just gone.
David Samorano (2:36)
You found it so hard that you hit it.
Jon Post (2:38)
Yeah.
David Samorano (2:38)
Because it's just gone.
Jon Post (2:40)
And I'm, you're thinking to yourself, I'm going to remember that I put it here.
David Samorano (2:45)
Yeah.
Jon Post (2:46)
And that never, it just never happens. You never see it again. You may as well throw it in the trash. Like, because it's just gone, you know, somewhere in your house. And I could probably think of like five things that that is, that I'm looking for.
But I've lost them and now I don't remember what they are.
David Samorano (3:06)
So how do you manage it?
Jon Post (3:08)
Because you have a dilemma, because you know what? It happens to me in my business. So right now, I'm looking for a trailer that I know I had it last year. And I don't know where it is. How do you lose a trailer?
David Samorano (3:24)
How big is the trailer? What size are we talking about?
Jon Post (3:27)
40 feet long. You can't license it. It's not licensed. So it's not licensed to go in on the road. So who did I loan or who came and borrowed a 40-foot trailer that you can't do anything with? I mean, obviously, you can put stuff on it. But you can't haul it legally down the road. You can't get on the freeway. Where is it? Somewhere in Marana, there is a trailer that is floating around, and I can't find it.
I have no idea where it's at.
David Samorano (3:59)
You probably put it in a good spot, though.
Jon Post (4:01)
I'm sure it was, I'm going to put this trailer right here, and then I'm going to come back and get it when I need it, and I don't know where that spot is. It's in Marana, somewhere in Marana. You know, it's worse when it's like a tractor or something like that. Who did I loan that tractor to? You know, I can't, I don't know. I can't remember. So don't borrow anything from me, because I will forget who I loaned it to, so I just don't, I can't, I'm sorry, I can't loan it to you. Not your fault, my fault, because I will lose it, and it's just, you know, so great meme. I'm glad you put that up there.
