Hey, everybody, welcome back to The David Samorano Show, episode number two. You know, I'm only 400 plus away from Christopher D. Simone's show Tally, but we'll get there eventually. I am committed to this.

It's exciting, and I'm really happy to be here with you. This is This is a... pre-recorded show today, so if I'm not answering your comments, that is why. But feel free to put stuff in the comments. I may get back to them later, because I'm currently in DC. I know that sounds weird to hear what I'm telling you, but that's where I'm at, doing some good work. We're going to get started. I always like to start with positive stuff for the beginning of the show. I think it's important to just have a little fun, you know, not be so dreary on things. There's a lot of negative things that we could talk about. It's endless, right? And I know that a lot of networks and other folks really focus on that, but I'm not doing that. Just not doing it.

So we're going to talk about somebody interesting. You might not know this person. You may know this person. But I guarantee you, at some point, you have heard a song that was produced by this individual, Benny Blanco. He's a little bit of a nut. He's funny, but I really enjoy. He did a really good podcast episode on Daniel's Wall. If you ever get a chance to check those shows out, they're really great. Daniel goes and interviews a lot of musicians and folks in the music industry. And he was on there, and he had some really good things to say. And one of my favorite things about Benny Blanco is his outlook on failure. He makes it well known that he uses failure as an opportunity to grow. And I want to talk about that because his book that he's just releasing is called F-Failure. You can figure out the rest of the word. But he's a nut, but that's what the book is called. And there's a quote from Benny regarding this book. If you quit, it's the only way you're going to fail.

And if you do quit, you're going to give somebody else a chance to come and fill that spot. We often talk about things like that here at Live The Dream Media. I know our CVO, who's going to be joining me on the show today, talks about a seat at the table. And how do you earn that seat at the table? It's showing up, it's doing what you need to do. And not letting failure set you back and keeping you out of the game is a lot to learn from failure. Benny Blocko does a really good job of talking about that in that book.

Just from the synopsis and stuff that I've been looking at, it's got to be something that you add to your repertoire of books. From good to great is a great one. John Maxwell is always a nice one to have inside of your bank. And then The 48 Laws of Power is another book that I really enjoy, I guess you would say, putting in the practice. Not all of them. Some of them are a little bit sinister, but overall, it's a great idea to have a good repertoire of different books. And Benny Blanco, Tony, you're in the music world. Have you ever heard of Benny Blanco? All right, I'm going to give you... Go ahead, look up his show on Daniel's Wall. You'll like him, but don't watch him on Dave's show on FX on Hulu. He's nuts on that one. So, but the next thing I want to get into is I like to do a meme of the day.

Memes are a great way to communicate. And this is one that really cracks me up because I do hunt. I'm not that great at it. I've tried hunting. But this one talks about deer. And go ahead and pull it up for me, Tony. I want to show this one. Funny that the government owns all the deer when you hunt, but not when one totals your vehicle.

Oh, you hit a deer? Not ours.

Not ours at all. Oh, you shot a deer and you didn't have a tag? Come here. You're going to jail. Here's a fine. We're taking everything. You own all your guns, your car. So, but it's a standard that you can look and go, oh, okay.
