Okay, let's just go ahead and start right there.

**Stephanie Lowe** (0:54)
Blessings Through Action is a faith-based non-profit.
We have been based, we're based in Tucson, been around since 2019, and hardly anybody knows about us except the recipients. And we want to change that.

**Clint Peek** (1:08)
We're going to change that today.

**Stephanie Lowe** (1:09)
We're going to change that and I'm thankful for that.
What its emphasis is, faith-based non-profit, we have 18 housing units for people that are needing some monetary assistance. We don't, it's not government housing at all. We expect our tenants, there's a criteria that they have to meet and it's an application process. And we have 18 units throughout Tucson and we just broke ground on four more. So that's a one and a half million dollar project right there.

So are you, so these other 18 units, did you build those as well or were those something that you...

**Stephanie Lowe** (1:54)
They're from the 50s and 60s, but totally renovated.

**Clint Peek** (1:58)
And you own these?

**Stephanie Lowe** (2:00)
Our founder does. Elaine Beck is our founder. The Blessings Through Action is the nonprofit. And they're all remodeled inside, very nice inside. And they're typically one bedroom, one bath. There's a couple two bedrooms. They're all filled.
And it's been in existence since 2019 And we have maybe one opening right now, but it's we need more.

These are for either single folks or couples.

**Stephanie Lowe** (2:30)
They could be couples.

**Clint Peek** (2:30)
Or you mentioned the two bedrooms in some cases. So a small family.

**Stephanie Lowe** (2:35)
We could have some, there are some small children involved, but they're they're in a limited income. You have to be on Social Security. Say, if you get a thousand dollars a month in your Social Security, we will never ask for more than half, five hundred dollars. Their tenants have a responsibility. They have a commitment. They have a part to play in this. It's not free housing. They need to pay a portion, but it will never cap out more than seven hundred and seven fifty.
They pay their utilities, but nevertheless, there's a lot of money that still needs to be, you know, contributed.
There's a lot of property taxes and other things that go into play landscaping. And we have someone there who actually lives on the premises, and they watch, and they can kind of give us a heads up of what's going on.

Now, is this an employee, then, or someone that volunteers their services?

**Stephanie Lowe** (3:41)
Actually, there's a, the person who does that works for our studio, a different, but nobody's being paid for this. Nobody's being paid for this. It's all 501C3.
Been around since 2019, like I said, and it's doing a great work. We have 18 units breaking ground on four more. Tomorrow, we have an event, and it is the two new structures that are breaking for four more units, they're called transitional housing in this case. And that's for people that are, maybe they've had a fire, then they're renting and they have nowhere to go. We want to help them get back on their feet until their housing situations can get on its way and more stable. So it's a transitional type of thing. Or if they have a family member who lives in the units that we have, they need a little bit of medical help, we're there so they can be close by. So it's a temporary thing in this case, and it'll have restrooms and laundry and office and stuff in it. But that's what we're working on now. That's our latest project. But tomorrow's event, we've got the wood framing is finished on those two new units, and we're going to have people write their scriptures. And we just want to bless the foundation. We're writing scriptures and inviting people come, and we're just giving glory to God for this.
