We've been talking about this for... Well, you tell me.

**Rhonda Piña** (0:45)
Well, a long time. Well, since last November.

**Clint Peek** (0:47)
Yeah. Isn't that amazing? Here we come.

**Rhonda Piña** (0:50)
It is amazing, but well worth it.

**Clint Peek** (0:51)
Yeah. So the ballots, the early ballots, the mail-in ballots go out today.

**Rhonda Piña** (0:56)
That is correct. So people should be watching the mailbox.

**Clint Peek** (1:00)
Yep. You should have them in most cases by tomorrow or Friday.

**Rhonda Piña** (1:05)
Exactly.

**Clint Peek** (1:06)
Certainly by Monday, Saturday or Monday. You know, I read something the other day. I don't know that I shared it with you. I shared it with several people that... And this was a little bit surprising to me because I have been saying, hey, we got to get the information out because these ballots go out on the 24th. Now I'm a show up to the ballot guy. Yes. That's me. But my family, everybody does it early. And I know they get their ballots and they come to me and say, okay, what?
I'm that guy.

You're probably not alone, Clint.

**Clint Peek** (1:37)
No, I actually have a list so I can send out what people, you know, well, here's who I recommend. I don't do a public one, no, and I don't know their world. But the majority of people, it's like 80 percent. Now we don't know when they marked the ballot, but 80 percent of the people do not turn them in, that turn them in, do not turn them in until 10 days or sooner before the election.
And that's kind of amazing, because I figured most A-type personalities probably sit down and start marking that ballot the day they, because they already know.

You would think, right? Because most people would do know.

**Clint Peek** (2:19)
And so when I was researching that, there was a lot of studies have taken place. No one knows when they're marked, but we know when they come back.

**Rhonda Piña** (2:28)
Why do you think that is?

**Clint Peek** (2:31)
Maybe a little bit like what we were talking about on the pop camera a few minutes ago. And you said it. People are so busy living their lives, raising their children, spending time with their grandchildren, interacting, which is good. I actually think that's a good thing, that they're not paying attention almost until they're forced to.
I don't know. I mean, that's just kind of like my take on it. I don't, because it's not... What other explanation would there be?

Well, the only thing I can think of now that we're sitting here talking about this is maybe the timing of the holiday, right? Because isn't that during that time period? So it's come in the mail.

**Clint Peek** (3:13)
And it always has been in Arizona, at least since I've been here. They've moved it up even further, which pushes it more into the 4th of July holiday.

**Rhonda Piña** (3:21)
Yes. So I think maybe there's some of that because probably there's family visiting or people leaving town, they're planning for a vacation or whatever celebration they are doing for that time period of the 4th of July.
And so that's maybe that's why too, but it's also important because in Oro Valley, we do have a high propensity of voters and I think people should vote. It's our right as citizens and we should vote. It's important, especially for local communities.

Hey, I'm with you 100%. Actually, that's one of the, no, not one. It's the first question. If someone's complaining about stuff, my question is, did you vote?
