Márquez, Delano, welcome to the show. It's you guys. It was February of last year, so it's we're way overdue.

Márquez Price (1:06)

Wow. It's been a year.

Clint Peek (1:08)

We're way overdue. Interesting, interesting little interaction just a couple of moments ago in the main room out here with between you and Bruce Ash.

Márquez Price (1:23)

Right.

Clint Peek (1:23)

And you guys, he walked out and said what you've heard a thousand times. Hey, Márquez, if you didn't know it, your dad was just a legend in this community. I mean, your name comes out, I hear it all the time. I didn't tell I got to know you, I probably was unaware of that. But now I hear your name mentioned all the time. The other day it was mentioned. We were at the football stadium.

I remember who I was talking to, and Bob was there, and your name came up in conversation with Bob Elliott. How cool is that?

Delano Price (1:59)

The thing I appreciate most about that is, you know, my name is associated with the basketball a lot, but it makes me feel even more proud than it's mentioned in other instances. Community service.

SPEAKER_1 (2:19)

That's where I actually heard it.

Clint Peek (2:21)

It wasn't basketball so much.

Delano Price (2:22)

Yeah. Yeah.

You know, I have a picture of you and I with a group of other people.

Is that right?

Clint Peek (2:29)

Yeah. And it was at the 50th anniversary of Coach Snowden showing up at the U of A when Stacey...

Delano Price (2:40)

Yes.

Clint Peek (2:41)

Yeah. And you and I were sitting next to each other. At the loft. You remember that?

Delano Price (2:44)

Yes.

Clint Peek (2:45)

Yes. And it came up my... I knew we had spent time with each other, and I'm like, well, I didn't know there was a picture of you and I actually sitting together, which is very cool. That was a high... You know what? I was so...

When Bob and Beverly asked me to do that, I'm like, wait...

But they said, you're part of the community, you knew a lot of people, and even though I never had the pleasure, I'm sure you did, of meeting Coach Snowden. Oh, yes, yes, yes. I was just so proud. I was honored. That was a really cool highlight. Young man, we're going to come back to you. You know, Delano and I could just talk for... I'm pretty sure what you and I could, too, but I believe we could talk probably for... Well, we have, so...

You've been a busy man.

Primarily with the backcourt.

Márquez Price (3:34)

Yep, we just had the premiere for the documentary at the Loft Cinema August 22nd, and we had 350-plus people who showed up.

Clint Peek (3:43)

That's very cool.

Márquez Price (3:45)

Filled up the biggest arena for the screening. I mean the arena, the theater for the screening. So we're in talks for doing some more on-court screening.

Clint Peek (3:54)

And you did a documentary. There's a soundtrack.

Márquez Price (3:56)

Audiobook, everything. So the project's pretty layered, but I just wanted to introduce it to everyone. Do that for them, do that medium of documentary. So it's been well received and looking at going as far as we can take it.

Clint Peek (4:12)

Yeah, go as far as you can see. And when you get there, you can always see a little further. It's kind of, I don't know who said that, but it's kind of been my motto from day one. And ask for forgiveness rather than permission, right?

Márquez Price (4:23)

Exactly.

Go as far as you can go. That is such a cool book. I was sharing with you, I've sat down and actually read it a couple of times. I read it, I don't know, a month or so ago, because I kind of knew we were going to be doing this again.
