Alright, guys, welcome to an exclusive, special, I don't know what to call this thing. I just call it the exclusive because we're getting the full story behind the Aston Martin that was debuted at Hot Rod Drag Week 2026 We've got Joel Kerr on, owner and driver of the car. We've got Joe Woods on, also known as Dominator. We've got Mr. Lon Tibbs on tonight to be talking about how this car came together, how it came from a dusty barn find to what it is today and 3,000 plus horsepower. All this kind of fun stuff. But before we get into that, guys, I got to ask you, please hit the share button as we do this. Can't do this without you guys. Let's get these guys as much attention as we can, because we know it was Joe's first time to do a drag and drive, and we need him back in drag and drive, because I know he had a lot of fun, but he didn't get enough street miles in. So we got to bring him back. So hit that share button. Then also thank you to our sponsors for making all this stuff possible. Summit Racing, D2RX, Molly Motorsports, Driven Racing Oil, Howard's Cams, J-Wire Solutions, Avco Racing Products, Performer Built Transmissions, Car Change 3D, Low Dollar Motorsports, PowerTube TV, and Racing Junk Classifieds. Enough of that stuff. Let's do this. I'm going to bring in Mr. Joel Kerr first.
Dude, I'm so excited about this.
I kept trying to weasel you into an interview, and I finally got one at Cordova, and I was so excited.
SPEAKER_2 (1:49)
But by that time, the bad stuff was done.
Michael (1:52)
Thank you for coming on this morning. I know you're not exceptionally excited about live stream stuff, but I'm glad you're here.
Joel Kerr (2:00)
Thank you for having me, Michael.
Michael (2:02)
It's going to be awesome, man. And I think with Lonnie doing what he does, he kind of brings us all together. He's like this big group of guy, and I think he's going to keep us on track. So I ramble, I know you ramble a little bit, and we're going to have a good time.
Joel Kerr (2:19)
Yep, yep, bring it on.
Michael (2:22)
All right, well up next, we got Mr. Dominator himself, Mr. Joe Woods. Sir, how are you this morning? Is your drag week hangover? Are you good now?
Do you still want to go back? Ready?
Joe Woods (2:33)
Oh, yeah, man, I'm good. It's no different than the other life that we were living.
Michael (2:40)
Oh, yeah, for sure.
Joe Woods (2:42)
And that never stops, right?
Michael (2:45)
All right, let's bring on the man behind the plan. Mr. Lon Tibbs, what's up, dude?
Got got extra here. We got some chains, got some cowboy hat stuff on. What's up, man?
Lon Tibbs (2:56)
We're just here to put on a show.
SPEAKER_2 (2:58)
Nice.
Lon Tibbs (2:59)
Nice.
SPEAKER_2 (2:59)
Well, who's with you?
Lon Tibbs (3:00)
This is my son. This is this is the reason we don't drag race anymore. Right, buddy?
Michael (3:07)
He said, don't got to whip you in the shape, man. Got to keep it.
Lon Tibbs (3:09)
That's it. That's it. That's it.
Michael (3:12)
That's awesome. Well, y'all, let's start this thing. For folks that don't know that have maybe lived under a rock, I do want to show a picture of the car real quick.
Just so everybody knows which car we're talking about. Probably one of the best looking cars to ever grace hot rod drag week. This thing, the curves, the color, all the stuff is awesome. But let's start way back. Where did this thing come from?
SPEAKER_2 (3:38)
Like, how did we get where we're at today?
Lon Tibbs (3:42)
Hey, Joe, why don't you, Joel, why don't you stop grabbing the mic?
Michael (3:47)
He's like, I got to get it in my ear though, man.
Lon Tibbs (3:52)
And he's gone.
Joe Woods (3:53)
He's going to show you.
Michael (3:55)
Don't tell him what to do.
Lon Tibbs (3:57)
Yeah. Well, I guess I'll start it for him, so we're not sitting here on dead air.
So I guess starting with where the car came from, and that's really a story for Joel to say, but I guess we'll wind way back, way back to kind of get the story set. I can hear you now. Perfect, bud. Well, we could hear you. Looks like you were chewing gum wrappers. But we'll start way back, and hopefully Rick will get to pop in here as well, but we'll add that story. I don't know how far back you want to go, Mike, but.
