**Julia J.** (0:23)
All right. We're back for another week. I'm Julia J.
**Cackie S.** (0:27)
And I'm Cackie S.
**Julia J.** (0:30)
And we're really glad to be here. Cackie is guest hosting another week. And we're thinking Monica will be back next week.
So welcome, friend.
**Cackie S.** (0:45)
Hey, Julia. It's great to be with you today. How are you doing this week?
**Julia J.** (0:51)
I think I'm good. I don't even know.
You start. What's your week like? We could probably tell each other's week because we talk so much.
**Cackie S.** (0:58)
This is true. This is true. So I am getting ready to host a graduation party tomorrow.
And fun fact, when I planned it, I got the date for my son. When I planned it in my mind, I was like, oh, that's a Saturday. So I set the time for two to seven, but it's tomorrow for us, which is a Friday. So I'm the jerk who's hosting a party from two to seven on a Friday. But I look at it like this. It's all good. We're going to have fun. We have a lot of family. My sister just got to town with my nephew.
We have our niece coming as a surprise. She's really close with Rowdy. So we'll have a lot of family in town, and the friend that we're hosting with, he's going to have a lot of family there. And apparently, they don't think I'm too big of a jerk asking to come on a Friday at two o'clock.
**Julia J.** (1:53)
I did this morning. My husband was like, what do we have going on this weekend? And I was like, well, tomorrow is Rowdy's graduation party. And he was like, tomorrow? And I burst out laughing. I was like, yep, it's from two to seven.
And I told him, and he was like, that's awesome. But this is the thing. So I also said that after, so a lot of people know, I was a teacher for a long time. And then I switched over to, I have a private practice. And I started working in a building that has, like, all sorts of different types of people that work. And what I started to notice was that the parking lot was really empty on Friday afternoons. I don't think anyone in, like, corporate America is really, I mean, I know people are listening right now that are like, yes, we do. But I think a lot of people duck out early in corporate America. So, at least in the building where I work, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
**Cackie S.** (2:47)
Well, especially during summer, right? So, yeah.
**Julia J.** (2:49)
Yeah.
**Cackie S.** (2:50)
Yeah.
**Julia J.** (2:51)
So, yeah. I don't know. I don't have a ton to share. I had a really, yet my kid is really into going to Kings Island, which is the amusement park in Cincinnati.
I hate it. I'm really glad that he loves it, and he's old enough to go on his own. So, often he goes. And yesterday, I picked him up in what normally takes us 20 minutes to get home, took us an hour and a half. And we kind of had a ball. Actually, we talked to Khaki for part of it.
We had fun. I don't know. There was an accident on the highway, and so we had to go a back way. And I don't know, I just really... Because my other son is out of town for five weeks, I'm really trying to savor this time with this one, who's not driving yet, that wants to be with me, that I have to drive around.
Because I know now that these moments are fleeting as they grow up, so it's been a privilege to be with him. So, that's my week, yeah.
**Cackie S.** (3:51)
I think that's a great thing to have yesterday, and I sure enjoyed my time talking to both of you, too, as pickle juice was being spilled all over the car.
**Julia J.** (4:00)
Oh, yeah, he spilled pickle juice on the front seat, that's right.
Yeah, so. Okay, so, I'm excited to have this guest in the studio, and actually really excited, because he only found out 30 minutes ago, that he was going to be here. So, thank you for coming in a pinch. His sobriety date is May 5th of 2015 His home group is here in Cincinnati on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m., bright and early, with a very appropriate name called Start Your Weekend Right. And we are really glad to welcome Lou K.
**Lou K.** (4:39)
Thank you.
**Julia J.** (4:39)
Yay!
**Cackie S.** (4:40)
