Taylor-Made Farewells, Emotional Goodbyes & A Little Bit of Rizz

The Rizzuto Show | Daily Comedy Podcast

August 21, 2026

We’re getting dangerously sincere on today’s funny podcast, because former Rizzuto Show intern Courtney Diamond — better known around these parts as Eight Ball — is back in the studio before closing one enormous chapter of her life.
Speakers: Rizz, Courtney Diamond, Jeff, Rafe, Bailey

Topics: Comedy, Society & Culture

The choice of a lawyer is an important decision, and should not be based solely on advertisements.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:04)
The decision to place a loved one in a nursing home is a really hard one, and you put a lot of trust into the facility you choose. Sadly, nursing home abuse cases are on the rise. Thousands of claims are made every year, covering everything from physical and emotional abuse to financial exploitation and neglect. If you suspect that someone you love is a victim of reckless or inadequate care in a nursing home, call Brown and Crouppen for your free consultation now.
Thank you.

**Rizz** (0:55)
I know, it's great to see you. And tomorrow, that's it.
The final TaylorMade Tribute to Taylor Swift show at Delmar Hall. That's it.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:03)
That's it.

**Courtney Diamond** (1:05)
You're trying to make me cry. You're making eye contact with me and trying to ruin my life.

**Rizz** (1:09)
I'm not gonna look at you when I talk to you.

**Jeff** (1:10)
Can I ask you a question? Why is it the last one?

**Courtney Diamond** (1:13)
Yeah, I knew you were gonna ask that.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:14)
Okay. It's none of your business. It's Taylor Kelsey's show.

**Courtney Diamond** (1:17)
I know, I'm just kidding.
No, I'm kidding. There's a lot of reasons, but I feel like it sounds really cliche, but I'm gonna say it anyway. You just kind of know when it's time to bounce. And the biggest goal that I had with ending this was making sure that all of us in this band loved what we were doing every single second that we were doing it. And I'm really, really happy to say that that's the case as we close this chapter. That's good.

**Rizz** (1:48)
And you've taken this all over the place.

**Courtney Diamond** (1:50)
All over the place, yeah.

**Rizz** (1:51)
Tell us some of the cities you've been to with the TaylorMade show.

**Courtney Diamond** (1:54)
We just got back from Knoxville last week. We played Knoxville. That was really, really special. We've been wanting to play Tennessee for three years, like our whole inception. We played Harrison, Ohio. We've played Paducah, Kentucky, the Carson Center, which is a giant venue that was really special for Bailey, because that's where you grew up.
We've played all over 28 cities total, 45 shows.

**Rizz** (2:19)
Do you remember your first show? Where was your first show? Was that The Wildey?

**Courtney Diamond** (2:22)
The Wildey. Yeah, of course I remember it.

**Rizz** (2:24)
And tell me about that. So what was the first show? What were you feeling?

**Courtney Diamond** (2:30)
Pressure.

**Rizz** (2:31)
Pressure?

**Courtney Diamond** (2:31)
Pressure on myself.

**Rizz** (2:32)
Remember you came in here, we talked about it on here.

**Courtney Diamond** (2:34)
We sure did, yeah.
It was just a lot of pressure. It was like, these people are either gonna love what we do, or they're going to fricking hate me. And I'm really glad to say that it was the first. I remember like our intro started playing, and I was backstage, you know, this drama, I enter last and all that stuff. And I remember the intro started playing, and like this deafening crowd roar, and screaming from these little people in front of me. And I was like, oh, I think we're good.

**Rizz** (3:03)
And I'm sure you had the bubble guts before, and you were nervous, your heart's pounding, and then you get out there and you do it, and it's all good.

**Jeff** (3:08)
We got to see, I don't know which show, because you did multiple shows at The Wildey, and my mom and I went to one of them. And it was so cool and cute to see all of these little girls decked out.
They thought you were truly Taylor Swift. They do.

**Courtney Diamond** (3:24)
And Rafe.

**Rafe** (3:25)
You were there. Rafe was there.

**Bailey** (3:26)
Yeah, I was cool, head to toe.

**Jeff** (3:27)
And there were dads. I remember seeing dads too. I noticed that it wasn't just moms bringing their daughters and sons to this. It was dads sitting kind of off to the side, trying not to care, and then by the third song, they are tapping.

**Rafe** (3:40)
I hear you singing too.

**Courtney Diamond** (3:40)
Oh yeah.

**Rizz** (3:41)
Do you have a Travis Kelce character?

**Courtney Diamond** (3:43)
I don't.

**Rizz** (3:44)
Oh dude.

**Rafe** (3:45)
We talked about it last time.

**Courtney Diamond** (3:46)
We talked about this last time and Rafe flaked. I didn't flake.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:49)
You're just kidding on her.

**Rafe** (3:50)
I'm kidding.

**Courtney Diamond** (3:51)
I'm kidding.

**Rizz** (3:53)
Get this man an 87 He's 87, right? Number 87
