Well, the day is 9-11, and I guess we all should take a moment to remember the people who gave their lives and lost their lives on that day. I recall I was on my couch watching TV, and when they interrupted the show that a plane had ran into the first building, and I immediately called my buddy Lawrence Taylor, big New Yorker.

He was on the golf course.

And I told him what happened, and you know.

He went on and continued to play golf. Everything is fine. And then a few minutes later, a plane hit the second building, and I called Lawrence back.

I said, Lawrence, you ain't going to believe this. Something's going on. And I remember he rushed into the clubhouse to see what was going on. Horrible day.

Everything is fine.

But something I'd never forget. Unfortunately, 9-11 is just a bad date for New York.

We were there for, everybody else may have got injured, but we were fine.

Oh yeah. He stayed alive way too long.
