Okay, let's get started. Hello. Hi, Zach. Welcome to Conan O'Brien Needs a Fan.

**Zach Tarantelli** (0:17)
Hey, Matt, how you doing?

**Matt Gourley** (0:19)
I'm good.

**Zach Tarantelli** (0:19)
How are you?

**Conan O'Brien** (0:20)
How you doing there, Zach? Zach Tarantelli is your name. I'm not asking, I'm telling.
You're an animator from Ohio. Is that correct, sir?

**Zach Tarantelli** (0:30)
That's 100% correct.

**Conan O'Brien** (0:31)
And I can tell from looking at you that you are a ginger. Welcome to the club.

**Zach Tarantelli** (0:37)
Just in the beard, though. Hair is like blonde, like dirty blonde.

**Conan O'Brien** (0:42)
Okay, that's very strange. That's probably a sign of insanity, but I think we just have to accept it for now. I know that my beard comes in redder than my hair.

**Zach Tarantelli** (0:54)
Oh, wow.

**Conan O'Brien** (0:55)
Yeah. It's more aggressively like copper.
No idea what that is. Yet below the waist, blonde. Nobody asked.

**Matt Gourley** (1:04)
It's like fiber optic. It's just like see-through. You know what I mean?

**Conan O'Brien** (1:09)
And also it changes-

**Matt Gourley** (1:10)
No, you know like a fish that's so deep down that you can kind of-

**Conan O'Brien** (1:13)
And you know what? It changes colors like the sphere. A lot of our rock bands want to perform down there.
Anyway, let's move on. Zach, it says here, and I have notes on you. Oh, I've got an old dossier on you, Zach, that you are the head of animation for Zach D Films. Is that right?

**Zach Tarantelli** (1:33)
That's right, different Zach, but yes.

**Conan O'Brien** (1:35)
Okay, that's all right.

**Zach Tarantelli** (1:36)
Two Zachs conquering the world together.

**Conan O'Brien** (1:38)
And you guys are very successful. It says you have 27 million followers and you've done, you're an animator of over 70 shorts. Is that correct?

**Zach Tarantelli** (1:46)
I personally animated 70 shorts for the channel before I moved into my current position, yeah.

**Conan O'Brien** (1:52)
That's so cool. That's, I mean, first of all, I'm a long fan of animation, raised on the very best of the Warner Brothers cartoons, the classics, worked on The Simpsons. So I've always loved animation and admire what you people do. I really do.

**Zach Tarantelli** (2:11)
What do you love about it?

**Conan O'Brien** (2:13)
Well, I love that it sort of brings the, first of all, you can do anything. Anything can happen.
And so whether it's Ren and Stimpy or a classic Roadrunner Bugs Bunny, and so many of the great animated shows today, anything can happen that's in your imagination. And it can really get perverse, which is my true joy.

**Zach Tarantelli** (2:39)
100%. And I know that you would love that because you're basically a cartoon yourself.

**Conan O'Brien** (2:43)
You know what? Thank you for saying that because I do, I've often thought I'm a cartoon character. My motions are exaggerated. My hair is a ridiculous cupcake. I act like Woody Woodpecker. Yeah.
And, yeah.

**Matt Gourley** (3:00)
You look like olive oil.

**Conan O'Brien** (3:02)
Pardon me?

**Matt Gourley** (3:03)
Nothing.

**Conan O'Brien** (3:03)
What was that?

**Matt Gourley** (3:04)
Nothing.

**Conan O'Brien** (3:05)
I'm dumb. Listen, I heard what you said and I don't disagree.

**Zach Tarantelli** (3:10)
A Popeye before the spinach.

**Conan O'Brien** (3:12)
No, no, no. Even better. Yeah. Yeah.
A blend of Popeye before the spinach, yeah, and olive oil. Okay. So, that's all to be admired, Zach, that you have these amazing skills. And I'm glad you think of me as a cartoon character. Please turn me into one because there has yet to be a successful Conan animated short. And I think that's your territory, Zach. You could do it.

**Zach Tarantelli** (3:38)
Well, it's so funny you bring this up, and I feel like the producers are going to hate me because we just talked about this. But I did do a little animation for you, and I was going to e-mail it to somebody. But I got to tell you, here's the thing. I could send it to you.

**Conan O'Brien** (3:51)
What's the matter?

**Zach Tarantelli** (3:52)
The problem is-

**Conan O'Brien** (3:53)
Nothing's the matter.

**Zach Tarantelli** (3:53)
This is great.

**Matt Gourley** (3:54)
He's a great animator and yeah, he made a little short.

**Conan O'Brien** (3:56)
What's the problem?

**Zach Tarantelli** (3:58)
The problem is the great animation takes time, and I only had like two days to put it together. So I don't know if I want the world. I did it for Conan. Yeah, for Conan.

**Conan O'Brien** (4:08)
Well, why can't we look at it?
