During our conversation, we discussed what it means to be an artist, how to evolve away from the need for approval and validation, and the importance of mentors during the creative process. Suzanne, I've been so looking forward to this conversation since I first came across your work just a few weeks ago, actually, I'm a huge music junkie, even bigger electronic music junkie, and you've been a pioneer in this space your whole career. I thought an interesting on-ramp for our conversation would be to ask what the earliest moment in your music career specifically do you think of as a proud moment where you did something that you look back on with pride?

Oh my, I've had such a long history, that's a long looking back. I mean, the first thing that I was proud of probably as a child was, I mean, this has nothing to do with music.
