Yeah, that's crazy when I just looked at, we started this in 2017
So give you a quick little introduction, some stats, and tell you what this is. We started this tradition back in 2017 before Comic-Con, because we found, because the podcast had started 2015, then we got 2016 Around that time, and it's a little hit or miss now, you never know, but the reason we started around that time was lots of time during Comic-Cons, that was the confirmation for DC or Marvel, or even X-Men, Jesus, X-Men Fox 2 back then, I forgot, right? There's multiple panels of, they're gonna confirm somebody or an actor. So we did that and we go, okay, we're gonna do a draft. The draft works in a way where we all pick, at the time was five, now it's 10 We all pick any actors and actresses that we think are gonna get cast within the next calendar year, not calendar, sorry, within the next year, from July, 2026 to 2027, of who we think is gonna get cast in a Marvel or DC property. It does not matter if it's TV, does not matter if it's anime, doesn't matter if it's a special presentation or a short. As long as they are cast within the next year, we get a point. Now, the only way the point can be reducted is if someone has picked someone and they get cast and the project gets pulled out or canceled, a la Batgirl, a la Tony Stark's daughter. That is the amber rule. So we did talk about it a couple weeks ago because Kirkland was like, he's giving me shit on the person I got a point for. He's like, oh, well, they could cancel it, Batgirl. Well, the thing is they haven't canceled it yet. So right now, I get the fucking point.
To give you a little history here, 2017, we had no winners. 2018, the first ever winner was Mr. Dylan Musse. 2019, we delayed it because of COVID, and that's where we add the five more after because obviously, there was no casting really happening in that 2020 era. 2020 is when I won. 2021, nobody won. 2020, I won. And then the last two years after that was a tie between Dylan and myself. So we both won in 23, one in 24 One of those years is the goddamn, what was that stupid?

You that and then didn't you have like Alison Breen, like a moon girl, like animated shows? Yes. It was one of these things where I was looking at. And then we checked. It was like, oh, I guess he tied. And then this year, the big duke Rue himself, Judy, obviously looking for that. I take it again. The win this year. I think there's only one person's been cast this year. So I'll read off my list as I did get the win here. I had Samara Weaving, Paul Clemente, Daisy Edgar Jones, Karen Gillan, Ryan Gosling, Dave Bautista, Denzel Washington, Alan Tudyk, Sophie Thatcher, and my winner, Adria Arona, who has been cast in an unknown role. It has been confirmed by Gun, DC, Michael B. Jordan, even introduced to that at CinemaCon. We don't know the role. So that's what Kirk was trying to push me off. He's like, oh, we don't know the role. She's been cast, likely, hopefully, as Wonder Woman. If it's not Wonder Woman, Gun, your job is very much in danger. That's what I got going on right now.
