That's Tommy B. I'm the SFD. This is The Super Flex Super Show. So here we go, Tommy, with me on the talk.
**Tommy Blair** (2:06)
Welcome back, SuperFriends. Welcome back, John. It is so good to be on the mic with you again, buddy.
**John Hogue** (2:11)
Yeah, you too. You've been busy with over in The Margins. So we're back to SuperFlex City running through the streets. Let's freaking do it.
**Tommy Blair** (2:21)
It feels so good to be back in the streets of SuperFlex City. First, I want to thank you for being one of my first guests on The Margins.
I did too. I really loved it. And I've been reaching out to some of the heavy hitters in the fantasy space. And what I do is I send them your episode and I say, this is the vibe. Can you do something like this with me? Because John has set the table for what this show is. And man, like, if you super friends haven't listened to this episode, like, if you're only going to listen to one, they're all good. But like, John, you delivered, man. It was a great one.
**John Hogue** (2:57)
Nice. I'm glad. Yeah.
**Tommy Blair** (3:01)
But we got a lot to get into today.
I just like, I threw in the discord, like, we tend to, hey, we're jumping on in a little bit. If you've got any thoughts or questions, throw them out here. Do you want to do a couple of these?
**John Hogue** (3:17)
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.
**Tommy Blair** (3:19)
Okay.
**John Hogue** (3:19)
Yeah.
**Tommy Blair** (3:19)
Let's just jump right into it then, man.
Let's see. From Jason, what are margins you feel we will be talking about down the road that league managers wish they had? I mean, an appropriate topic coming off your guest spot on the margins. But what do you think, man? Like, let's prognosticate a little bit. What is going to be an edge tomorrow that maybe we're not quite seeing today?
**John Hogue** (3:46)
Oh, my God, this is hard.
I think, so, you know, just kind of thinking in terms of, like I've been thinking about Infinity Stones. It's kind of that time of year for one thing, for another thing, you were just kind of asking me, like, you know, when can we do that episode? So, you know, trying to pull that together and looking back at the 2026 season and why did I miss, particularly on Jackson Smith Najibah, you know, kind of one of the qualifiers had been, they've got to have been in the league for at least three years. Well, he has not, he's been in for two. I also don't believe he had a top six finish as a rookie. I seriously doubt it. So, like, you know, he broke the mold a little bit and to me, you know, that might be kind of one of the margins is how much sooner are these guys going to hit some of their production expectancies, you know, for their career? Like, when are they going to hit the peak? And it might not be the same three-year weight that it used to be. So, you know, maybe it's kind of preparing for that. Maybe it's preparing for just kind of a new set of guidelines just in general when it comes to, you know, who are, you know, viable candidates to be Infinity Stones and be, you know, number one at their position overall in total scoring at the end of the season.
