Substack Exclusive: Making the Paranormal Normal | Mystic Michaela

Mayim Bialik (0:04)

Hi, I'm Mayim Bialik.

Jonathan Cohen (0:05)

And I'm Jonathan Cohen.

Mayim Bialik (0:06)

And welcome to our Breakdown. Today we're sharing something very special that was previously only available over on Substack. It's a conversation with Mystic Michaela, who we've spoken to before. This was available on Jonathan's Practical Spirituality page. Mystic Michaela has recently released the Encyclopedia of Energy Healing, an A to Z guide to spiritual elements on how to use them. And this conversation covers everything from, can you connect to someone's energy when they aren't in the room, to what does Jonathan's aura reveal?

Jonathan Cohen (0:39)

We did a deep dive. It was such a fun conversation. Mystic Michaela and I also talk about negative entities, clearing negative entities, and how to use a pendulum and form your own intuition.

Mayim Bialik (0:51)

This is a really great conversation, and we're so excited to share it with you. Also, if you want in on more conversations like this that we're having with the Mayim Bialik's Breakdown community, sometimes with surprise guests, find them over on Substack. Jonathan's page is Practical Spirituality, and we are Mayim Bialik's Breakdown on Substack.

Thank you so much for having me, Jonathan. This is such a treat. I'm so excited to be here today.

Jonathan Cohen (2:55)

We first connected, I think it was like almost four years ago when you came on the main podcast and we titled an episode, Our Aura is Real or Do You Know Your Aura?

And if I look back, we weren't doing this type of content back then. I don't know what happened or how we ended up pulling you in. I forget the origin story, but that episode struck a chord with people and all of a sudden, we were talking about things that were energetic, mystical, extra sensory, and you were one of the first guests to do it and introduce that to our audience.

Mystic Michaela (3:35)

I love that. I love it. Making the paranormal somewhat normal. I remember at the end of that episode being like, whoa, they asked questions I've never been asked before, which was so cool, so deep diving. I was just on the Tamron Hall show not that long ago, and they were showing clips from that podcast on the show. People really love that episode with you guys and how you were asking me questions.

Tamron Hall was asking me about, oh, it's Jonathan Mayim's colors, how you guys work.

It was fun. I love how when things live a little longer to greet a few more people. I think that that's cool.

Jonathan Cohen (4:13)

Your background is as a fourth-generation psychic medium, specializing in auras. Can you tell people a little bit about your background? Because when I found out about how you grew up, I was just kind of blown away because you just grew up in a very different environment than most people either have or even know people who have, right? A lot of people come to these experiences either later in life. What was it like for you growing up? Can you tell us a little bit about the people around you and sort of how this was a part of your life and your family?
