Alex and Gianfranco discussed the potential of subscription-based services in various industries. We explored the benefits and challenges of a subscription-based car wash service and suggested the idea of a subscription-based dentistry service.

So, I know, definitely not a business for me, but in general, I think, if your average amount of times or like the mean time, the mean amount of times per month of the wash is, let's say what, maybe five times, right? Maybe 10 at max, if you're like an avid driver.
Then depending how much is the subscription, but I would assume, I mean, it's almost the same as the gym membership where you get the maximum people not attending, so this is similar. But I guess, if you're basically, you're making money of the people who don't wash cars that much, but they think that they still get a good deal. Probably there should be tiers as well, like amount of washes you can do per month, or maybe just unlimited, then yeah, unlimited.

**Alex** (0:56)
No, I just guess the type of wash you can do, because sometimes you can do polishing and whatever, like a more, or yeah, or just something like that.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (1:10)
Well, the point is that yeah, it's unlimited, like Spotify, right? So, yeah, and you get unlimited access. You just pay monthly fee, you don't think about it.

**Alex** (1:21)
It would make sense also, sorry, it would make sense also in the future when you have self-driving cars, so you can say, okay, I have a subscription to this car wash, and the car will automatically go and wash himself.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (1:34)
Oh, that's a nice t-shirt. Yeah. I mean, the cars will wash themselves.
Yeah, definitely, that makes sense. But the water is a scarce resource anyway, so there should be some kind of like a re-circulation of water at the same place, or maybe collecting rainwater as well. Stealing it, so you need to...

**Alex** (1:57)
Maybe charge your tesla car while... Or while your tesla car is being charged, you know, you gotta wash as well, that is safe and everything.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (2:09)
Hey, anyway, I'm not a car guy, just I heard this idea somewhere, and I thought, oh, that's interesting. It's not my idea. Yeah, so overall, I think there are lots of services like this that could be transitioned into just about 50, instead of like pay per play, or whatever it's called, pay per usage.

**Alex** (2:36)
Yeah, of course.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (2:38)
I would do the same with dentistry, for example. I was just thinking, what is the pay per usage thing? I think dentistry would be cool, and you would not stress out about your teeth health, because you know that, hey, I can go there frequently. They will, and they are also incentivized to keep my teeth healthy, because they are getting this monthly membership anyway, because right now, you go to the dentist, and you need to know if you can trust them, because they are incentivized to get as much money of you as possible, instead of keeping your teeth healthy. So I think dentistry could be this monthly subscription. In fact, all of these services could be monthly subscription, but well, the one which... Okay, not all, but health-related, probably most of them. For sure, something like Beauty Salon, that's a non-brainer. Monthly membership for Beauty. Oh yeah, the girls would just live there.

**Alex** (3:44)
Yeah, maybe that's why it doesn't really make sense. People were like, oh, make me my hair again. Oh, geez, you were just here yesterday.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (3:53)
But the dentist makes sense.
You can't go there every day. makes no sense. Okay, do you have anything?

**Alex** (4:06)
What did I send you this week? There was something. Strange business idea. Oh, the jesus AI Chatbot.
What would jesus say?

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (4:19)
Yeah, well, it's such a crowded market. The SEO would be impossible.

**Alex** (4:27)
Yeah, I was thinking SEO is a battle about all of those things.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (4:34)
Okay. One of the ideas I had, I just checked my list where I write about sometimes, is the email newsletter, which is paid newsletters. You pay for it weekly fee, not monthly, but weekly, and you receive the current auctions, available auctions on real estate property in Germany. So currently, there are lots of properties which are getting auctioned off.
And usually, to get them, it's like a printed magazine that you should get, official one, it's very expensive, and you get it only in printed form. There's no way to check the property before the auction. And basically, it's like a very laborious process. So basically, I thought, why not make it easy for the people, particularly outside of Germany, to make purchasing real estate in Germany, confiscated real estate via auction, easy. I went to such auction back in the day when I lived in Germany, a few times we went there, and we almost got like one, actually. There was, I don't know, back then it was really cheap, so I could get, it was outside of Leipzig, there was a, there were lakes, and anyway, it was the, I think, attic, attic was being sold. You could buy an attic in the house. The house was, I think, three, three floors high, and I don't know how long it was, but it was quite long. And you could get an attic, one was for two and a half thousand euros, and the second one, I think, was also for two and a half. It was like two attics, and you could connect them to the corridor. But basically, you could get two for like 5,000 euros, and another one was apartment in Black Sea. It wasn't the best place in the city, but still, you could get a legit apartment. It was for 8,000 euros.
