Because I was told that was where I was to go if I needed anything in this hotel.

So tomorrow, we're recording this Wednesday night. So tomorrow is Thursday. Keisha and I are going to the Drew Barrymore Show. Thank you to Ross Matthews. So I will have that to tell you guys about. So my aunt was in town last week in DC and I went and had lunch with her. Now I want to tell you about my aunt because she's fascinating. She definitely should write a book. She has written one book, but she didn't publish it because she consulted a lawyer because it's a true crime, such a true story about her.

And let me, I'm going to tell you about my aunt because I think she's fascinating. So first of all, we have the same birthday.

Kimberly (3:28)

I feel like you should maybe save this for your series with Kate Casey. This sounds like I could, but tell me anything.

Mary Payne (3:43)

It does. But that would require me to do some research and have it all put together.

I think with Kate Casey and I do our next Tell Me Everything, which is probably going to be in December, we're going to do Tell Me Everything About Cults. And we're going to tell each other about cults, like different ones.

Kimberly (4:00)

Yeah. And I can tell you about the acting cult.

Mary Payne (4:04)

Yes.

So my aunt, okay, she's very interesting because number one, she has the same birthday as me and she's one of the Marys in my family. She's Mary Lou, not to be confused with Mary Margaret. And she was married to my mom's brother. So technically no relation by blood, right? My mom's brother, so there's three sisters and then the brother. And so it was Elizabeth Ann, Barbara Jane, whatever her middle name is, and then Mary Margaret. And then 11 months later, they had a boy. So they had three girls and with less than a year, they had a boy.

So his name was Bomer because he's Oscar Bomer Taylor Jr. He was Bomer, okay? It's an old fashioned name.

So Mary Lou was married to Bomer. And when they would come to visit when I was young, I thought that they were so cool because they were very much like hippies. And even then I was sort of into that vibe, you know, even though I was like eight. And I thought they were cool because they were like super young and, you know, because Bomer was almost nine years younger than my mom, right? So they were cool.
