Hello, everybody, welcome to the Rotoworld Football Show. It's Thursday, August 6th, 2026 I'm Patrick Daugherty. I'm joined by Denny Carter, Kyle Dvorchak. We have a lot to get to. Our training camp is going on. Our draft guide is out of ADP's Rising and Falling. Jonathan Taylor, the latest superstar running back to sign a contract extension, will break it all down. Steph Diggs, the latest free agent wide receiver to find a new home, will break that down. Something on JCM, something on Omarion Hampton, can't really read all that. So the Giants apparently struggling. Alvin Kamara apparently surging. All that and more when we come right back after this.
And we're back. So we're going to break down the news. The second half of the show, we're going to talk ADPs, risers and fallers. We're having trouble separating that from just players that we liked and wanted to rise and fall. We're going to try to forecast ADPs will be going up and down. So we're going to get to that later on the show. We would be remiss, though, one of the biggest football stories of the summer, one of the biggest in several years, I would say Denny Carter throw to you first, is Aaron Donald flirting with unretiring the will here, won't he? Like getting a little tedious, I'm going to be honest.
I had an epiphany with the latest Aaron Donald news, which is that he worked out the Rams earlier this week. So everyone is being very unironically. We love this joke. From an ironic standpoint, who is stopping this team? But everyone is doing, the Rams get Aaron Donald, seriously, who is stopping this team? I got to be honest, the vibes to me seem a little desperate. They just seem a little, little, little desperate to be like, if the Rams signed another old guy, who is stopping this team?
A guy who hasn't played football in two years, like how do you even, what do you even do with this? And do you think the Donald unretirement vibes are good or are they secretly bad as I am?

They're not strictly good, is what I'd say. I don't know if they're bad because I think what he wants and maybe what the Rams want, just reading into what Sean McVay actually told our guy, Greg Rosenthal the other day in a really fun, good interview, if you all want to check it out.

And I think what the Rams want and what Donald wants is just to have him to be like, hey, big guy, it's third and long, get out there, do your thing. Like this guy's not playing like most of the game.

He's playing. Which never works. It's like when the Astros were like to Roger Clemens, you'll have to pitch home game. Oh, wow. I think it'll be fine.

This feels like manufactured contrainism. Like the best D tackle to ever play football, ever play football, wants to come out of retirement. It's not like he's 42 years old.

He's in his 30s and he hasn't played in two years. I mean, in his 30s.

I mean, dude, Kalei's Campbell is literally 40 years old. Yeah, he never took off.
