Happy Saturday. We did learn. We have some Nova Scotian fans.
Sean Green (0:31)
People think it's a bit, but we do have listeners in Nova Scotia. VSiN is worldwide.
Listen on SiriusXM channel, 189 YouTube TV. And of course, basin.com with the 24 seven watch app. Joining us on the line, celebrating NFL week one on the progressive guests line. You know him. You love him. The laddie daddy, CJ Sullivan, bottom line bombs podcast. What's up CJ? How are we doing good?
CJ Sullivan (0:56)
How are we doing that? We are full regular slate of football here. A lot of things going on tennis, baseball. I imagine the sports book is packed.
Sean Green (1:06)
Oh yeah. Yeah. A lot of Missouri tigers fans rooting against my Kansas and the points bet, which was not very fun, but a great environment. It was electric yesterday for the Rams Niners game. A couple, a couple of sad Rams fans, but CJ it's that time of year. People love your ladders. The laddie daddy. We got the ladder sound effect. You often have ladder props. You got the dog Odin fired up in the background. What do you got? Give us a, give us a ladder to get things going here.
CJ Sullivan (1:40)
We do got to get going because obviously all the Seattle ladders broke off the fifth play once Sam Darnold got hurt there. You guys like to remind me of call CJ, your Darnold rushing. That's bad for your rushing attempts. Is it? Yeah. I think it is. It's bad for his rushing attempts as well.
But we have some great ladder. There's so many ladders to get involved here in a weekend. It's almost too much. It's it's like, it looks like ladder Christmas all over again. Now, let's go on the late labor day. I want to start off with that Colts Ravens game. Seems like a fun game down there. And I want to try to attack those Colts wide receivers. Alec Pierce is playing, which is good for this ladder because I feel like he's going to be a little limited and maybe only running deep routes. So I want to attack Josh Downs on this one there. Now, Josh Downs, anytime he's played with just him, Pierce and Warren, he had a 27% target share. That was like 398 snaps to be exactly. And then only one of those three was he targeted on 20% of his routes. And that was him. That was Downs. I'm not afraid of Keenan Allen and his Indianapolis trip cocktail DUI. Owen likes Josh Downs ladder as well.
He will probably play the Z receiver and 11th personnel. If we know one thing about Minter and his LA defense is that he puts out tough zone coverage and it's kind of hard on the vertical routes to crack. So I think it's going to funnel down to the slot where our man Joshua Downs is. We're going to go receiving yards with Josh Downs, either receptions or receiving yards. But I like the yardage with Downs. I mean, we'll start right off with plus money. No need to waste time here for week one. Fifty yards for Josh Downs is plus one 13 We'll skip a few rungs down there. Go to 70 yards is plus two 84, 80 yards plus four 30, 90 yards is where I think it'll settle in nicely a plus six 40, but why not a hundred yard game for Josh Downs is plus nine 40 And you know, along with Tyler Warren, I think he's going to, he's going to be targeted heavily.
Sean Green (3:43)
Get the kitty out of the tree.
Ryan Kramer (3:44)
I love this. And I think there's some, I think there's some chance he plays on the outside of it with the presence of a Keenan Allen and Tyler Warren. So I love his, I think he's going to be running all the routes. I love this. We, I was talking about him earlier without knowing about the ladder. So we are ladder aligned.
Sean Green (4:02)
Yeah. And we carefully don't want to cross ladders there, Ryan, but you can join. I'm with you because I, yeah, I look, Pierce is going to be out there, but I, he's going to be far from a hundred percent. No Michael Pittman and yeah, Keenan Allen is out there, but I think Josh is going to be able to catch up with him. He's got some big play potential. So I like this a lot. Toss another ladder our way. CJ.
