This is the Sports Gambling Podcast live on VSiN, the Sports Medi Network. Here are your hosts, Sean Green and Ryan Kramer. I can't believe we're letting these guys on my network.
Sean Green (0:19)
Welcome everyone to the Sports Gambling Podcast live here on VSiN. I'm Sean, second, the money green with my partner in picks Ryan real money Kramer. What's happening? Cray.
Ryan Kramer (0:31)
Now we have live bullets for us.
Sean Green (0:33)
I know we keep saying football's back. Football's back. It's kind of back. It's kind of back, but now it's here. NFL week one. Yeah.
Ryan Kramer (0:39)
Well, not only that we, we took a live bullet on the way over to the circuit from the, oh yeah, we're going to get, we're going to get to, get to that.
Sean Green (0:46)
Joining us in studio. That's how you know the NFL is back. We got him.
Chris Wilberding, AK big balls. What's up and happy NFL dude.
Chris Wilberding (0:55)
I'm so happy to be back on this show, dude. I mean Friday night, you know, seven o'clock local time, 10 o'clock Eastern.
Sean Green (1:01)
It really is.
Chris Wilberding (1:02)
I mean, this is the best way to kick off the weekend.
Sean Green (1:04)
It is. And our, we did a promo back in the day. I think they still run date nights canceled saying, watch this show, hang out, get all your bets in and the environment here once again, as always is great. We were hanging out with you guys and Derek last night. Sweat. It wasn't really that much of a sweat. We were on the Niners Ryan. We had the Mike Evans. Anytime the Mike Evans catches, it was a, it was just a smash.
Ryan Kramer (1:27)
We were well rested. The Niners were well rested. Not so much.
Sean Green (1:32)
Chris, did you follow the, the plane stuff? What did you make of the Rams plan? It did seem like the Rams just said kind of, Hey, screw it. We're going to not care that much about the Australia game with the idea of like, maybe it doesn't mess up the rest of our season. What was the thought there?
Chris Wilberding (1:47)
I didn't understand really the science behind what they thought they were doing with the Rams, you know, sending 15 different health specialists over.
Sean Green (1:56)
Who are all these specialists?
Chris Wilberding (1:57)
You know, and I was talking about it yesterday with Mitch and Derrick, who knows? Like, it doesn't matter how many of you send over, it's an NFL game. Those people that went over there were not playing a professional football game. Nope.
Sean Green (2:13)
So they were hanging out at the airport.
Chris Wilberding (2:15)
Who are these nerds just going over there doing that? Like, what do they know about playing football? It doesn't make any sense to me.
Sean Green (2:21)
They didn't have to tackle Mike Evans.
Chris Wilberding (2:25)
It was crazy.
Ryan Kramer (2:25)
And Sean McVeigh had to take his medicine. I don't know if you have anything to say on the topic.
Sean Green (2:30)
Oh, you know, this is my McVeigh.
Ryan Kramer (2:33)
Well, you know, we were going to beat that one.
Sean Green (2:36)
It was not a good decision in hindsight to leave. I mean, they landed an hour before. My God, what did you think was going to happen? Just wild arrogance by the Rams who are coming in as the super team, Superbowl favorite. No way they're going to lose in, you know, 20 point division loss. Not a great start, but we'll see. It's a long season.
Ryan Kramer (2:55)
It was division loss.
Sean Green (2:56)
Yeah. That does count as one of their home games.
SPEAKER_1 (2:58)
It's tough.
Sean Green (3:00)
Chris, let's start there. We Kramer and I have given out our Superbowl picks. I'm sure you got a Superbowl pick and then we'll get to your lock of the week. We got a lot to get to. What do you, who is your team to win it all in 2026?
Chris Wilberding (3:13)
Well, I mean, for me, being a diehard Detroit Lions fan, you know, with the fourth, the fourth place schedule, I think the easiest schedule in the NFL, we saw the Patriots do it last year. And in my opinion, the Lions have a way more talented roster than the Patriots have. So the Lions would be my pick from the NFC to make it there. Now, AFC, a little bit different.
And, you know, I'm looking at the Cincinnati Bengals.
Sean Green (3:47)
Ooh, okay.
