Spider-Man Brand New Day Predictions : WG Highlight

The only bug I want to talk about is Spider-Man. We got more stuff to plug later, more things to talk about. But yeah, I'll say, I got Patreon questions, I got overall questions. Don't need to, well, I guess I got the Ron Domeo score, because I don't usually predict that. But where's just, I'd say, out of 10, where's your excitement level for in two days? You'll be sitting in the theater, it's been five years, you know, four and a half, but still five calendar years since we've been watching a live action Spider-Man.
Where is the hype at right now?

It's like bubbling under the surface, like a dormant volcano, I feel. I feel like this is me anytime I'm leading up to a vacation, is I just, for whatever reason, just don't think about it at all. And for some reason, Spidey just feels so far away still, because I'm just like, just thinking about work and what I have to do, get stuff done before my time off. So I'm just really focused on that right now. But then it's like, like you just said, two days away is Spidey, and yeah, five years away. It's crazy. It's super crazy.
I was talking to someone at work about that today, and it was getting me more amped, like the more I was talking about it, just because it has been so long.
Can't wait to see that suit on the big screen, man. Oh, yeah. That is like the one just baseline. It's looked so amazing since the end of that last movie. And then through all the trailers, that suit looks so gorgeous. Can't wait to see like Sadie Sink in action, too, because there's been so much like, I don't know, Smokin Daggers around that character. Yeah, exactly. Like, it's the worst comes to the worst around. Yeah, it's the worst comes to the worst around. But at the same time, like I just, I'm excited to just reveal that, you know, reveal that.

So it's kind of like a trope though. I feel like I was thinking about this because someone was talking about Mysterio and the multiverse thing. I was reading like on Comic Con Sunday and I thought they're going somewhere else with the posts and they didn't go there.
But almost every film has had this mystery box, right? Like MJ, they weren't presenting as that, but Zendaya ended up being a mystery box, right? Mysterio's whole thing was, is he from that earth? And is he actually have powers this time? No Way Home was, is Andrew and Toby, is this or are they not? And then this one. And so I feel like all those ones in the past, we knew the answer going, I think the only one we really didn't was if Mysterio was from the earth that he said he was. But I think we all kind of thought that, okay, he's probably a fraudster. But it's funny that all these Spider-Man secrets that are right before the release, we're all kind of like, all right, we know what's going on here, but we're still hyped to find out and see how they execute it, which I am with Sadysync, right, to see how that all goes down. Because again, it's, go ahead, Zory.

I'm also just excited to see her a part of the MCU now. It's been a long build up and wait time.
So just what they build up on here, I imagine she's gonna have some significant roles going forward, especially if we get that inevitable Phoenix, the Phoenix saga that I always hate. I imagine it's gonna come no matter what, if it is Jean Grey.

And I will say everybody, we have not, I've not read or listened to any, I listened to one review, that's it. I've read the non-spoilers headlines for on the mails, but anything we're talking is us speculating. So even the post credits out there, I don't know that. Luckily, I'm pretty good on that type of stuff, because usually, because now I've been watching, the times I'm the worst is if I watch a podcast live on YouTube in the chat, someone's an asshole and you just happen to see it. But now I'm using an app that gives me YouTube premium in a, for free, I'll just say.
That helps, because I'm a big, like, close the, you know, whatever. So anything we're talking about is still speculation. We know nothing. So just in case someone's like, oh, you're spoiling, no, no, we know nothing.

Yeah, no, absolutely nothing. I'm completely blind beyond, or, yeah, past, like, the trailers. That's all I've really seen on this. I haven't read anything. I haven't, like, looked into any leaked information. And it's kind of a nice place to be, even though I always think that these Sony trailers just reveal so much. You know me, I'm always just so upset with, like, how much they showed around, like, the Peter and MJ dynamic.
