Hi, everyone, JJ here. Welcome back to The Lounge. Well, SpaceX pumpers are out in force after SpaceX earnings. The first earnings that they've had as a public company. It didn't go too badly, but as this headline says, SpaceX spooks investors with debut earnings report, and the stock is down, crashing really. We can call it a crash. We'll just have a look at it. The high was 225, it's now down to 108
And after earnings, it was down after hours, because the earnings were after the bell, but the next day, it was down 13.61% on the day.
So we do have some pumpers coming out. I'll show you what I mean. They're not all pumpers though. This guy here, Eli, the computer guy. Now he is in my niche on YouTube. This guy, I haven't mentioned him before, but I do like to share the love around with the niche. And it probably does help with the algorithm too, to define who is talking about the same things or in that same realm. He's not a pumper at all, but he does make a point here, a good point. And then we'll get to some of the pumpers. Listen to what he says.

Like one of the things I'm really noticing when people talk about SpaceX is it has almost nothing to do with SpaceX. It has nothing to do with AI, like whether AI data centers in space make a damn bit of sense. It has nothing to do with the revenue of space launch capacity. It has nothing to do with Twitter ad revenue.
It all has to do with do you believe Elon Musk is going to take us to the future?

**John Johnston** (1:39)
Yeah, that's exactly right. I think it is about that. And you'll notice, as I said, the SpaceX and Tesla all in one, the same pumpers really talking about the same thing. It's really about Elon. They have a big belief in Elon, believe in all his predictions and everything. And this guy here is one of them. So this is the video that he put out after earnings facade. No one understands what Elon just said about SpaceX. Let's see what he says.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:08)
No one understands what Elon just said about SpaceX. Most of all, it's insane partnership with Nvidia, which is turning out to be the biggest bet in industrial history. Coming 10 times faster than anyone expected, which SpaceX reiterated by saying they would reach a trillion dollars in revenue by as early as 2029 and expects to quadruple its revenue just this year to over a hundred billion dollars in annualized revenue by December.

**John Johnston** (2:34)
Okay, so yes, and notice he doesn't question it at all. Whatever Elon says goes. And I did point this out yesterday, a trillion dollars, Elon said on the call, and he upped his other executives on the call, which are pretty down to earth just talking about the business. And then Elon comes in and says, well, it's going to be a trillion dollar revenue by 2030 And he said this a non-zero chance it's going to be by 2029 Like all these massive predictions that he has done on Tesla and people like this, the pumpers, the influencers, the Tesla influencers, they can be defined by that, right?
Just talk about how wonderful he is. I'm not going to play any more of this, but you can tell where it's going. There's nothing negative, nothing questioning about Elon or Tesla or SpaceX at all. Just how wonderful it's going to be and how wonderful Elon is. But this here also in the finance media, this is CNBC television. So Wall Street, we also have the Wall Street pumpers. Now this guy, SpaceX could become the first $10 trillion company, says early investor Peter Diamandis. Now this guy has been around for a long time, talking about the singularity in AI many years back.
I think he helped start Singularity University, that's how involved. And so Elon does know this guy, does interviews with this guy who asked no difficult questions. And now he's on finance media as an investor, a pumper. So vested interest in seeing SpaceX stock go up. A friend of Elon's.

**Elon Musk** (4:04)
We are expecting to reach 100 billion plus ARR in December of this year.
It's probably also worth mentioning that our internal projections for reaching a trillion dollars in revenue, not ARR, but revenue have moved up from 2031 to 2030 So prior to the IPO, the financial projections we had were reaching a trillion dollars in revenue in 2031 We now expect that to be in 2030 And there's a non-zero chance of that being in 2029
