Hey, good morning, guys. Welcome to Sobriety, Spirituality, and Sales. Brought to you by Michael Bader, State Farm Agency, First and River. If you're in the market for insurance, guys, you're going to want to reach out to Mike. The ladies in his office are terrific. They will take great care of you. Also, if you're tuning in today for the first time or multiple times and you have a problem with your life and you want to find out who you really are, on the other side of that, reach out to me on my website, reach out to me on my socials. I would love to chat with you and see what your life could look like without it. And without further ado, I'd like to welcome David to... Okay, let me text them real quick.
All right, technical difficulty, we're going to hop on here in a second with David.
He said, it's on, but it's not. Let me take a picture so I can show him. Maybe if he logs out and logs back in. It says, waiting for host, he said.
Yeah, he doesn't see us, but I see him on his side. Bear with us one second, guys, if you're if you're tuning in live here.
Is there anything we can do, Shea, to help him? Yeah. No, that's all right. Don't worry about it. Yeah, that's fine. All right. David, welcome. Welcome to the show. Thank you for being here. Welcome to Sobriety Spirituals. I think there's an echo. Maybe you could adjust your voice.

**David Mehler** (2:53)
Can you hear me?

**Michael Curry** (2:54)
Yeah, absolutely.

**David Mehler** (2:55)
I might have to wear an earpiece. This can happen sometimes.

**Michael Curry** (2:59)
Yeah, I had a whole show where it was echoing and it didn't turn out well.

**David Mehler** (3:05)
Yeah, this happens with certain platforms. Yeah, it sucks because I hate wearing these things, but I'll do it for you.

**Michael Curry** (3:13)
Thank you, sir. Love the line in the background.

**David Mehler** (3:17)
Thank you. You'll let me know if you can hear me in a moment. I'll tell you when.
Can you hear me?

**Michael Curry** (3:41)
I can. Can you hear me?

**David Mehler** (3:44)
No, I don't hear you through this. Is the echo still there? Yes. Damn it, hold on. That is bizarre.
How about now?

**Michael Curry** (3:59)
I can hear you.

**David Mehler** (4:01)
Damn, it's not coming through this. Holy schnikes.

**Michael Curry** (4:05)
I've had the same problems, man. Take your time.

**David Mehler** (4:10)
Let me log off and come back on one more time.

**Michael Curry** (4:14)
Hey, Shay, what can we do? Hey, Shay, what can we do with that? Like how though? Yeah, that like ruined one whole show, though. I couldn't really clip because it was echoing the whole time. Huh? Yeah, that's fine.
Well, we're waiting for him to jump back on here. Should be any second. Hopefully, we can get this resolved.

**David Mehler** (4:52)
We're good.

**Michael Curry** (4:53)
We're good.

**David Mehler** (4:54)
No echo.

**Michael Curry** (4:56)
I love it. Thank you, man. Thank you for your improv.
Well, David, welcome to the show. Welcome to Sobriety, Spirituality and Sales. I have to just tell you, I am so thankful for your time this morning. I know you were an extremely busy person, so again, just thank you so much for being here. Just how we met, let the audience know here, I came to a legendary David Bayard event in Austin, Texas, where we, I don't think it was happenstance. I believe everything happens for a reason. I think I was getting coffee and we started chatting, and I kind of told you a little bit about where I was at, and you noticed something in me right away, and you were able to kind of call me out on that, which I certainly appreciated. Some stuff about my relationship I was telling you, and we stayed connected and talked on the phone a few times. And then before you knew it, I was out in Santa Barbara, and I got to say you put on a top notch event. I was very, very impressed.

**David Mehler** (5:51)
Thank you, brother. Yeah, I remember meeting you online. I saw a giant smile, a giant heart, and a man that really wants to do good in this world. And I saw a couple of little blind spots as it relates to relationships.
