You are listening to The Glass Cannon Network, the premier source for role playing game entertainment.

Joe O'Brien (2:56)

The Glass Cannon Podcast, the original, the OG show of The Glass Cannon Network, which you know is your home for all of us, good friends, good buddies, getting together, playing role playing games of all different kinds, of all different varieties. Tonight on this show, you know, we play Shadowdark. Shadowdark. We enter the darkness, and I am your host and GM Joe O'Brien. I'm honored to be joined today with Kate Stamas and Matthew Capodicasa, Sydney Amanuel and Skid Maher. Kind of Matthew, I wanted to like introduce you as Matthew Capodicasa, but I feel like it's kind of rude during a specific credit intro to get your name wrong.

That's hard. But it's a friendly sort of violence. All kinds of sacks.

SPEAKER_5 (3:40)

Capodicasa.

Joe O'Brien (3:41)

Yeah, exactly. He's going to complain to me to the union.

Matthew Capodicasa (3:43)

That's right.

Joe O'Brien (3:44)

Then I'm going to have to deal with that.

Matthew Capodicasa (3:45)

For one, you should just make up names.

Joe O'Brien (3:47)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_1 (3:48)

Just make up entirely different names.

Joe O'Brien (3:50)

Entirely different names. That'll really throw a spike in it.

SPEAKER_1 (3:52)

It's like Saul Berenson. That's Mandy Patinkin's character from Homeland, right?

Joe O'Brien (4:00)

I think you just said a name of, yeah.

Skid Maher (4:03)

That was on the list. That was on that New York Times list of-

SPEAKER_1 (4:06)

Of best TV shows.

Skid Maher (4:07)

Yeah, that was on their list. That's a good show.

SPEAKER_5 (4:09)

Wait, Better Call Saul?

SPEAKER_1 (4:11)

No.

Skid Maher (4:11)

That was number, no, it was.

SPEAKER_1 (4:13)

Homeland.

Skid Maher (4:13)

Yeah, but Homeland. Yeah, you could call that character from that show.

Joe O'Brien (4:17)

Before we got started today, there was a lot of conversation around here about this list, this epic list of the greatest shows of all time. And I agreed with some things and I disagreed with others.

SPEAKER_1 (4:27)

What would you, what would be your number one, Joe?

Joe O'Brien (4:29)

Number one all time?

SPEAKER_1 (4:30)

21st century.

Skid Maher (4:31)

21st century.

Matthew Capodicasa (4:31)

That's what the list is. TV show anything.

SPEAKER_1 (4:33)

And it has to have started within the 21st century. So Sopranos, for instance.

Skid Maher (4:37)

The bulk of it.

SPEAKER_1 (4:38)

Can't count because it started in 1999

Skid Maher (4:40)

Yeah. I know what mine would be.

Joe O'Brien (4:42)

Does it have to be absolutely great beginning to end fully?

Skid Maher (4:46)

I mean, that's...

SPEAKER_1 (4:46)

I mean, if it's your number one show, presumably, you would have that speech.

Joe O'Brien (4:50)

And man, there are so many in my top five. There's at least 10 in my top five. It's definitely hard. Kate's got one.

Kate Stamas (4:57)

Number one? You're going to pump a roll of seasons 1 through 3

SPEAKER_1 (5:01)

Okay.

Kate Stamas (5:01)

If I could...

SPEAKER_1 (5:02)

I heard season two is really the special...

Kate Stamas (5:05)
