**Drew Lane** (0:00)
Hey, guys.
**Tom Mazawey** (0:01)
You're listening to The Drew Lane Show.
**Brandon McAfee** (0:03)
Drew Lane is a broadcasting legend, a man of huge broadcasting pedigree in the United States. And he co-hosts the show with his excellent colleagues, Marc Fellhauer and Trudi Daniels. They are the dream team.
Yikes!
**Drew Lane** (0:21)
Marc Dolan's celebrating somewhere because, no, he's not celebrating at all. Actually, he's crying because England just lost to Argentina. He was celebrating for a while and they had won to nothing, but man.
**Marc Fellhauer** (0:31)
How exciting was that, Drew?
**Drew Lane** (0:33)
It was an exciting game. I gotta say, I'm really sad though because I wanted England to win.
I got psyched up. I was watching some pregame and they were interviewing people going into the game and I realized everyone in the UK is watching this game. All my heroes, Paul Ringo, Plant Page, Pete Townsend is probably watching him, Roger Daltrey, he was getting upset. Rod Stewart was determined, probably was not able to watch the game.
**Jim Bentley** (0:58)
Prince Harry.
**Marc Fellhauer** (0:58)
Prince Harry.
**Drew Lane** (1:01)
The latest line, Prince Harry, we don't care if he was watching, but every time Rod Stewart suggested, I thought he'd be at the game like Mick Jagger and Jim informed me that Rod had other plans today.
**Jim Bentley** (1:12)
Yeah, Hasbro was on Daily Mail. I think he's getting his stomach pumped.
**Drew Lane** (1:17)
God, he must get pumped a lot because it seems like every time he's come up with a show lately, he's getting his stomach pumped.
**SPEAKER_7** (1:23)
He gets pumped a lot.
**Drew Lane** (1:25)
Yeah, that show had to be called short.
**Jim Bentley** (1:27)
Well, at least they caught it in time.
**Drew Lane** (1:29)
Yeah.
**Marc Fellhauer** (1:30)
I mean, couldn't Randy B. Fowler use his credentials and show up?
**Jim Bentley** (1:34)
He's got a life alert. They come just to pump his stomach.
**Drew Lane** (1:38)
Oh, boy.
Well, there are other things going on. So it's Argentina against Spain in the final? When's the final?
**Marc Fellhauer** (1:44)
Sunday.
**Drew Lane** (1:46)
All right.
**Marc Fellhauer** (1:46)
Oh, but you like this. England does get to play again. There's a third place game.
**SPEAKER_9** (1:50)
Yep. So Maz will love that.
**Marc Fellhauer** (1:52)
England and France play on Saturday.
**Drew Lane** (1:54)
Maz loves those third place games. All right. Hall Financials are sponsor. And hey, last call to get tickets to the Champions Club. Yep. Win tickets, assault the buffet and save money in your mortgage. Just call Hall. Get registered 866-CALLHALL, or on our online, at callhallfirst.com/baseball.
And also there's a little rates going on. So it's a good time to refinance. If you bought your home or got your mortgage a couple or three years ago, chances are you could save some money if you talk to some of the fine five-star service people from Hall Financial. And speaking of, who is leading the race this month?
**Jim Bentley** (2:29)
See, I don't see the back-end numbers, but the front-end numbers, I'm still one or two behind. But I predict by next show, I will be in the lead.
**Drew Lane** (2:37)
I wasn't aware of these back-end numbers versus front-end numbers.
**Jim Bentley** (2:40)
There's some numbers that get calculated.
**Drew Lane** (2:43)
There's always an asterisk.
**Marc Fellhauer** (2:44)
That's always an excuse.
**Jim Bentley** (2:45)
No, it's an excuse.
**Marc Fellhauer** (2:46)
Just like his list. What?
**Jim Bentley** (2:47)
It's not an excuse.
**Drew Lane** (2:49)
What is your list today?
**Jim Bentley** (2:51)
I just thought it was a perfect time. What are you excited for now, the second half of the year here?
**Drew Lane** (2:59)
Football?
**Jim Bentley** (3:00)
Big playoff run? Big Tigers? Little baseball list?
**Drew Lane** (3:04)
The pen of race is exciting. Yeah.
**Jim Bentley** (3:07)
Songs that reference baseball.
**Drew Lane** (3:10)
Okay. I think there's like 13 of them, so we'll see which 10 they pick.
**Jim Bentley** (3:14)
I think there's about 16, unless you include Matt Farley's songs.
**SPEAKER_8** (3:20)
That one's a stumper, isn't it?
**Drew Lane** (3:22)
Matt Farley's song.
**Jim Bentley** (3:23)
Oh my God, there's some good ones.
**Drew Lane** (3:24)
By the way, my favorite Matt Farley song, he's the guy that's written more songs than anyone else. We play a lot of his, like he has a song about Ferndale, he has a song about everything, everything in the world. His song about This is a Boring Conversation is probably my favorite song.
**Marc Fellhauer** (3:36)
Really?
**Drew Lane** (3:37)
Yeah. I love that song.
**Marc Fellhauer** (3:38)
What about, well, don't forget this one.
