This WNBA story keeps going viral, and one of the stories on WNBA is Lonzo Ball and Michael Porter Jr. They're sitting down doing a podcast, and they're asking, they're being forced now to talk about this topic because there's a guy that's transgender in Europe, I don't know what country it is, Vinny, that is averaging 2020 And there's a female, this guy right here.
**SPEAKER_2** (0:20)
Look at my boy right there.
**SPEAKER_3** (0:21)
Look at that. Please sign her.
**Patrick Bet-David** (0:24)
Please sign her. He said, if they contact me, I won't say no.
And then there's another WNBA player that said, I wouldn't have any problem having transgender in the WNBA. Then there's a real topic, which is NBA players talking about what could have happened if they played against WNBA players, 10th grade, 11th grade, 8th grade, at what grade would they have dominated? Look what they had to say. And they're trying to do their best to be respectful. Watch this.
**Lonzo Ball** (0:51)
And I mean this as respectfully as possible. But 9th grade, Lonzo Ball in the WNBA, it's crazy. It's like, all right. Because look, in 9th grade, I'm over six feet, and I'm dunking. Like, I'm coming through the, like, no girl in the WNBA is doing that. I'm going back door, throw it up. Like, I'm looking like Jordan out there.
So I'ma just say, and I mean this so respectfully. So great senior. Middle school day out. I give it to the WNBA.
**Michael Porter Jr.** (1:21)
I'ma go probably eighth grader. Because look, I have real experience doing this because I played, my sisters went to University of Missouri, and I was still a young dude, and they had me playing, like, on the scout team. And they had a few WNBA players on the team, like Sophie Cunningham and a couple others. And I think I was, like, in the seventh or eighth grade going dumb. I'm talking about, like, so I had a real life experience. No, it's not physically fair, bro. This is a difference, man. I wish this would stop in the conversation because it should be common sense.
But like, it's just not. But I appreciate, you know, common sense. I feel like sometimes that's lost a little bit.
**SPEAKER_6** (1:57)
Look at the size of this guy on the right. His name is Michael Porter Jr. How tall? He's six foot ten. Yeah. In the NBA, what position does he play? Small forward. Three. That would be the biggest player in the WNBA by far. That guy doesn't go dunk on people.
In the WNBA, that guy would average a hundred and a hundred and a hundred.
**SPEAKER_3** (2:20)
Let me just play this clip here.
**Patrick Bet-David** (2:23)
Watch what she's a WNBA player. Look what she says about transgenders playing. Go for it.
**SPEAKER_8** (2:27)
I think it's trans rights now is our new battle. That's what I think I was saying, that the battles have changed.
Our intentions have been the same, but now the environment has changed. You see trans people's rights being stripped away from them. There's a lot of discourse around trans athletes and what they can compete in. I would welcome a trans athlete on my team more against my team.
**SPEAKER_3** (2:47)
She should change her sex and go play with the boys.
**SPEAKER_9** (2:50)
No, no, she should change her sex and go play with the NBA.
**SPEAKER_3** (2:55)
She has to go play with the NBA.
**SPEAKER_2** (2:56)
You know why this attitude is this? She's in the mafia. She's in the LGBTQ mafia. And as you guys know, because Pat talks up, a lot of people that were in the mafia, nobody, you don't, the capo doesn't talk crap.
**SPEAKER_3** (3:09)
The mafia was smart. The mafia was smart, all right?
**SPEAKER_6** (3:11)
But my point, my point is, my point, my point is the soldiers.
**SPEAKER_2** (3:15)
Yeah, exactly.
**SPEAKER_7** (3:16)
Kathy Engelberg?
**SPEAKER_2** (3:19)
The point I'm trying to make is in the mafia, nobody goes over anybody's head, everybody sticks on message, everybody respects it, because you can't or else you get whacked.
**SPEAKER_3** (3:26)
They're mentally ill. This is all them, well, they have to, I agree.
**SPEAKER_2** (3:30)
Well, I agree, but they're in that mafia and they have to toe the line, so to speak.
**SPEAKER_9** (3:35)
Male, female, done. Why are we even talking about? Why isn't this even allowed? Why isn't even allowed?
**SPEAKER_7** (3:39)
I just want to see her take the foul, wake up next Tuesday, and then ask her the question again.
**SPEAKER_6** (3:46)
You know, they say, my lived experience, let me give you my lived experience. I was a point guard in high school. I played college football. I also played semi-pro basketball. I'm a player.
