What's up, everyone? Welcome to the 728th episode of the Pokemon Podcast, It's Super Effective. I'm your host, Steve. With me is Bobby.
**Bobby** (0:47)
Hello. Since we are now the Pokemon Pronunciation Podcast, I have brought another Pokemon name that has, I've seen this pronounced a lot.
**Steve Sarumi** (0:58)
Not ready for this.
**Bobby** (0:59)
No, but I know that this is the correct pronunciation. I've actually looked this up because it's the way I've always said it. All right, the evolution of Minchino, a lot of people call it Sinchino or Sincino, but it is Chinchino because it is based on a chinchilla.
Just throwing that out there, Chinchino, not Sinchino.
**Austin** (1:21)
I don't know if I can agree with that one.
**Bobby** (1:23)
That is literally what the pronunciation of it is.
**Austin** (1:25)
I know, but it should be C-H.
**Bobby** (1:27)
But that's not how that works. Like a cappuccino also, like it's kind of the same.
**Austin** (1:32)
But that's two C's. But Sinchino only starts with one C.
**Bobby** (1:36)
It's Chinchino.
**SPEAKER_2** (1:38)
Yeah, okay.
**Steve Sarumi** (1:39)
I don't know where it is in the Pokedex. Austin is also here. Hello.
**Austin** (1:44)
I hope you all had some good hot dogs lately. That's about all I got today. Welcome in.
**Steve Sarumi** (1:49)
Bobby's corrected as Chinchino.
**Austin** (1:51)
All right. I don't like it, but I guess I'll have to accept it.
**Steve Sarumi** (2:00)
Thank goodness. If we keep just doing this podcast forever, we will have every...
You know, people say Reuniclus incorrectly, too. I always hear like Reuniclus.
**Bobby** (2:13)
I want to even try saying that name.
**Austin** (2:15)
Reuniclus. So I think I say that one wrong, too. I think I say Reuniclus.
**Steve Sarumi** (2:20)
We know, Austin, we know.
**Austin** (2:22)
OK, all right.
**SPEAKER_2** (2:23)
OK, here we go.
**Austin** (2:25)
I know I get it. It's fine. It's fine.
**Steve Sarumi** (2:31)
I did see Austin playing Pokémon Champions recently. We are going to be talking about Pokémon Champions later on in the show. Pokémon Sleep showed off their three year anniversary stuff.
And we're going to talk about worlds again, because the schedule is up. Do we talk about the schedule here in the show? The schedule is...
**Bobby** (2:50)
We talked about that it was up, but we didn't go into detail of any kind.
**Steve Sarumi** (2:54)
OK, schedule is up and registration is now open for that. So we'll explain how that works for people. And then for our bonus segment, it will be Pokémon GO.
Maybe a little recent news and how, what the next couple months maybe looks like based off of summer. We're going to try to keep these episodes, this episode and next week's episode, a little bit tighter, only because I'm traveling to New York this week to play Pokémon GO.
We'll see how that is. If you do watch on Twitch and stuff, I'll be streaming that event and whatever anniversary event is supposed to be on Thursday night. If you're listening to this on July 6th or 7th. What? Wait, when is Thursday? Thursday is the 9th, whatever event is on July 9th. I will be streaming that that invite only event on Thursday afternoon in New York, whatever that is. So we have to record two episodes this week. So if we're wearing the same clothes next week, that's why we didn't leave our perspective offices and we just recorded two podcasts. There's not a lot of like breaking news though this week. So whatever doesn't make it to this episode gets pushed to next week, which actually next week we'll be talking about the 30th anniversary TCG stuff because that was also shown off. And GameStop is very excited to sell you that.
**Austin** (4:30)
They sure are.
**Steve Sarumi** (4:32)
Let's start off with the World's stuff. Bobby and Austin, you guys have your own announcement regarding the World stuff.
**Bobby** (4:43)
We do. So Austin and I will also be at World's because we got a ticket.
**SPEAKER_1** (4:51)
We'll be there.
**Bobby** (4:54)
Yes. So we did got single day tickets. We'll be there. I mean, I'll be there. My plan is to be there the whole from like Thursday to Sunday.
Right.
But the ticket is for the Saturday day. So I picked Saturday. So if you're around, we won't be like part of... I know, Steve, you have the meet and greet Saturday and Sunday. We won't be like in that meet and greet, but we will be around on Saturday, like around the place on Saturday. So yeah, we are going to Worlds.
